In Greek mythology, Hormes was the personified spirit (daimon) of effort, impulse, and eagerness. In the context of war, hormê was a violent forward movement - an assault or attack. Hormes was worshipped at Athens as the virtue of industrious effort.

Early morning runs or late night study sessions. Crafts, physical pursuits, mental pursuits. No matter in which area they chose, they but their best effort and all their energy. Some go with their gut, learning and moving and stumbling as they go. Others plan meticulously as to make the armies jealous. They're restless with nervous energy, spinning pens and pencils in their fingers, tapping their feet, fiddling with their phones. They multitask, jumping form one activity to another with ease. They run outside, play outside, adventure outside. They encourage others to chase what makes them excited. Shia Labeouf's "Just Do It" meme is their favorite and an inside joke.

Their eyes are bright with sparks of motivation and energy, their list of accomplishments their rap sheet.
