TASK 002: WELCOME HOME
Being pretty new to Lunar Cove, Kitty’s first order of business was to find somewhere to stay as cheap and as quickly as possible. She managed to find a small apartment on the top floor in a multi-family building in Shadow Lake, and they guy who rented it to her wasn’t too much of an ass. It’s really not much at all (kind of run down on the inside, really), but she’s got a bed, the hot water worked 75% of the time, and she even has a little balcony to step out on to that isn’t too rickety. She’s only semi-unpacked, clothes pouring out of her duffle bag with only a few of them hanging up in the tiny closet, and she honestly isn’t sure if she’ll even unpack completely, but it’ll do for now.
In truth, Kitty’s real dwelling place is probably her truck. Belonging to her dad before he gave it to her as a parting gift, the blue 1985 Chevy Silverado is her connection to her past. A perpetual fixer-upper, Kitty can often be found tinkering on it when she’s not at work, but she keeps in in the best shape that she can. There’s a Jagged Little Pill tape almost always in the radio, though Kitty has found a way to set up an AUX cord using the cassette player. The wolf ornament on the mirror was a gift from Parker, something he bought for her immediately after they found out they were going to go through with the bite. It was a stupid joke, but she kind of still loves it. She keeps a set of chains and a set of fresh clothes in the toolbox, and there are always snacks in the glovebox.
