Hyper-Sexualization of Women and How it Affects Dating & Relationships
stop hyper-sexualization of the female body 2016
No matter what, people are going to sexualize you. No age is safe from sexualization. No body shape is safe from being sexualized. No outfit is safe from being sexualized. No ethnicity is safe from being sexualized. No gender is safe from being sexualized. No sexuality is safe from being sexualized. Not even species of plants and animals are safe from being sexualized. What’s my point? NO ONE and NOTHING is safe from being sexualized and that’s terrifying. Why’s that terrifying? Because no matter what we do or who we are, we can be victims of sexual violence and abuse. No matter how old or young you are, you may get sexually abused. No matter how thin or curvy you are, you may get sexually abused. No matter how much or how little you wear, you may get sexually abused. No matter what ethnicity you are, you may get sexually abused. No matter what gender you are, you may get sexually abused. No matter what your sexuality is, you may get sexually abused. Hell not even species of fauna or flora saves organisms from being sexualized and it’s sickening. No one and nothing deserves to be treated like pieces of meat just waiting to be consumed. We are the society that lets it be the way it is. We can and should change it.
