Also I get your point too and I am happy that you are on Lulu’s side, but remember the morning clip where Eliott was so harsh with Lucas? He can be really rude when he’s in a bad state of mind, plus he is deeply hurt both physically and emotionally.

Oh no the witches AU has enormous potential for angst because as they finally grow to love Haru, they realize what a terrible thing they've done to take him away from his family, and they want to tell him but are unsure how, and they keep putting it off until he's 17 and finds out himself. It'll be like Maleficent; the betrayal and the hurt, "if you love them you must let them go" etc etc.

I know we all love angst but there are just fics that I want to have a certain threshold. This one in particular, as with most of my NagiRin fics, cannot (or rather, I refuse to) have more than the minimum level of pain. (NagiRin is my happy ship! They make me smile and laugh all the time!)
Haruka is, and will always be, a free spirit. His parents gave him up willingly. Witches and Wizards have claim over what the contract says. As a young mage, Haruka would understand this. There are abandonment issues there, under the surface maybe, but with Rin and Nagisa as parents??? I doubt he’s gonna feel all that abandoned. God, those two are clingy and annoying, and Haruka is in permanent “find-an-invisibility-spell” mode.
Rin might try to hide their circumstances at first, but Nagisa has a certain policy with unnecessary secrets (which is, secrets are stupid). Aurora’s just too sweet and gentle compared to what I plan for Haruka (which is that by the age of 17, he’ll probably be a better mage than both his dads).
I’m just this type of person, though. There will still be angst but god, PBAU is basically how I write all my nagirin fics (5 fluff to 1 angst, or something).
