Her appearance would have Kare questioning if he was still under something’s influence. Yet his vision had cleared, and from what he could tell, what he saw was her true form.
At first, he had to wonder if she was a demon of sorts-- He wasn’t aware of the Rakshasa, though his blade was reacting differently to her than it would that of a demon.
It often gave a much stronger, and awful response to them. But she was still a Maneater, he might have been better off with a demon, depending on her intentions here.
As much as Kare would love to avoid being a snack, he is powerless currently while so well bound. Hopefully, his slight demon taint would throw her off should it come to that, but for now, it seemed she was at least willing to talk.
Perhaps the fact he wasn’t fully human was the reason they were truly known in together-- For experiments?
The assassin could only guess.
Shaking his head, Kare sighed.
“I’ve just woke up here as well... Though from the sound of it, you may have been transported, if you were eating just a moment ago... They must have got the better of me, I can’t remember...”
Chains clanging, Kare tried to squirm his way free in vain-- That wasn’t about to stop him from continuing the attempt, even if it would make his wrists sore.
