Tempura yam fries with masago mayo. Of course my boyfriend insisted on getting fries at a Japanese restaurant.

Papa Ly makes Buddha's temptation soup. Ok, so this soup is my all time favourite soup. I can't help but to have an expensive taste for soup. It has a variety of different crazy lucky (and crazy expensive) high quality ingredients. We're talking about abalone, fish maw, sea cucumber, two whole chicken, scallops etc. There's about 20-30 main ingredients in there seriously. Papa Ly does not like to cheap out on any of the ingredients, as he always makes sure it's the best tasting soup for us (especially me because I'm a soup person and it's my fave). He started preparing for this soup a week prior, and took about 5-6 hours to cook it. The flavour is extremely rich, very very VERY flavourful. It's really pleasant on the palate, you taste all the different ingredients merged into one pot of soup. So good, and so complicated to explain the flavour. That's why I enjoy as many bowls as I can during the dinner!

Making Christmas dinner tonight for our family and friends. Here is our beautiful bacon wrapped turkey with homemade stuffing before going into the oven!

Cooking future husband makes bacon fat pan seared Brussel sprouts at home. Everyone loved the Brussels sprouts he made for the Thanksgiving dinner, so he made it again for Christmas dinner! But this time he used the bacon fat from the mashed potatoes to sear it! So much flavour, I usually don't like Brussels sprouts but the ones he made was delicious!

Cooking Lenna makes oven baked lobster tails with butter and garlic at home. A fancier appetizer for everyone to enjoy, added a little seafood for this year's Christmas dinner! I brushed garlic onto the tail and added chopped garlic, then baked it in the oven for only 15 minutes! Super easy, and super delicious. The lobster was cooked perfectly, just tender enough to enjoy. Everyone loved it!
