some thoughts on progesterone:

I had somewhat of a menstrual cycle before starting progesterone on 6mg estradiol tabs (without bleeding or anything - I am not intersex). I would get emotional instability and often some cramps and soreness for no apparent reason, and it came on a consistent cycle (which was so beautifully affirming after hearing the "oh periods are awful you should be grateful you won't have them" for a while)

I started progesterone ~4 months ago, and especially after a dose increase of my estradiol (and a whole lot of mental health work), I have gone from mild cramping and emotional weirdness to feeling like I'm in heat for a week every month right before I start my period. the progesterone horny hit like a truck after a while of being relatively ambivalent sexually. I feel like a feral cat. the Need to have someone use me is so damn strong (any high plains transfemmes? 👉👈). I'm also a lot more useless of a gay than I was to begin with which is saying something because I was very useless.

from the more gender side, my boobs are ridiculously sensitive and have kinda filled out more it's been great for that, and also the progesterone drunkenness and sleepiness is something else, I have to take it at night or I spend the morning in a semi horny haze, or just unconscious.
