It’s the bag that’s all over the internet and everyone seems to have it. From big-time Hollywood celebrities to local influencers, this bag is a staple in their wardrobe collection. Meet Marc Jacob’s Snapshot Camera Bag.

Marc Jacobs is an established designer in the fashion industry. He has released multiple items that are bound to wow any person who it meets. Ever since he released the Snapshot Collection, it has been one of their best-selling items in their official website.

Since the Snapshot Collection is a sought-after item, it has been a subject of many imitation by independent groups. If you’re wondering whether your Snapshot Camera is an original one or you’re thinking of buying it, then I’ll be able to help you with this review to settle your thoughts and worries.

The Snapshot Camera Bag comes with a dust bag and care card. If one or both are missing, your bag is most likely a fake. Of course, you have to understand that some sellers sell the fake Snapshot Bags in a fake Marc Jacobs dust bag and they’re claiming it’s from the MJ’s official warehouse or it’s a class-A/overrun. In order to establish whether yours is a real one, you have to look closely on the most minor details.

The real Snapshot’s dust bag is thick and not transparent at all. Its string is smooth and luxurious to the touch. The words “Marc Jacobs” is properly printed.

The care card contains how to properly care your bag. It’s very informative so I suggest for you to keep it safe.

In case you’re wondering, I got the Cloud White Multi. This is the original strap that came with the bag. If you want to change your bag’s strap, you can buy from Marc Jacobs, they’re selling various designs. If your strap design is not in the official website, yours is probably fake so better check the site asap. Naturally, you can easily adjust the length of the strap.

The double J hardware detail is very minimalistic and I love that it’s in gold/yellow. Very fitting along with the golden zippers.

The Snapshot bag uses Saffiano leather as its base. For those who are not familiar, Saffiano leather is treated leather made with texture pressed on it. Cleaning your Saffiano leather is easy since all you have to do is use a damp cloth.

Since the Snapshot bag is quite small, you can only put a few items inside. It’s not spacious so it’s not the type of bag you’ll bring when you need to carry loads of stuff. When you put your stuff inside, the zipper won’t hurt your hand at all. 

The Marc Jacobs logo is etched on the top. The logo can also be found in various places of the bag as well.

Outside the bag, there’s a back pocket. It’s very convenient when you’re in a hurry to just put random things (probably bills of cash) inside.

Inside the bag itself, there’s the logo etched again. There’s even a pocket where you can separate stuff.

Honestly, I recommend getting this bag. It’s a great accessory for a casual stroll and you just need a few items when you’re out and about. The only downside is that what you’ll be bringing would be limited since the bag itself is quite small and it can’t fit it all.

What Went Down In My Boracay 2019 Trip

When it comes to summer destinations, Boracay is the leading tourist spot. With its awesome nightlife and breathtaking views, one would surely want to live here forever.

It was actually my first time going to Boracay. The journey’s short thanks to Air Asia. Everything was smooth except for the bumpy boat rides from the airport to the Boracay island itself.

The city was bustling and the roads were full of foreigners. The place made me feel like I was in a foreign country due to the influx of various nationalities. It was complete chaos but nothing was going to stop me from having fun.

Staying in a posh and relaxing resort was an absolute must. My family decided to settle in Fairways and Bluewater Resort. It was a completely different experience from all the resorts I’ve tried before. They treat every guest as a VIP - I can attest to this!

Boracay’s full of water activities and I intend to enjoy the best ones to fully maximize the trip. My itinerary included: helmet diving, parasailing and relaxing in a private beach. Every single one was an utter blast.

Of course, when you’re in Boracay, mini activities like getting your hair braided and getting henna is a must. That was why I participated in both! Unfortunately, I don’t have a clear shot of my henna which I asked to be placed on my neck. I was surprised that both mini activities were cheap. The braid costed PHP250 while the henna was PHP200. Expected both to be in a higher price range.

I even managed to score this sarong for PHP350. I don’t know whether that was overpriced or not but I really liked the design so money wasn’t much of an issue here.

Daniel Wellington Classic Petite Melrose Watch In Rose Gold Set Review

I’m still not out from the Rose Gold fever so I decided to invest on another timepiece in a signature Rose Gold color: Daniel Wellington.

When the Philippines entered the crazed Daniel Wellington phase, I wasn’t part of it because I didn’t adore their original releases. Their nato and leather straps didn’t appeal to me since they either looked cheap or common. Thankfully, they decided to dive into mesh straps.

I adore mesh straps because they provide femininity and elegance to its user. Its design is meant to be soft but commanding another’s attention. You can kiss DW’s nato and leather straps goodbye because mesh straps are here to stay!

When I first saw this particular set in Alabang Town Center months ago, I knew I had to own it. Pass forward to the beginning of 2019 and I finally did! I had to pester my dad once in a while for this, LOL.

The Daniel Wellington watch along with the cuff is a signature It Girl look. Simply having one without the other would be an incomplete look in my opinion. I simply did not want to own a DW watch without the cuff bracelet. That’s how determined I am.

In my watch collection, I don’t have anything in rose gold. My watches mainly compose of rubber, gold, silver and leather straps. When I opened this box, I noticed that the watch isn’t much of a rose gold in color but more in copper toned. I didn’t mind at all because it’s still unique.

The Classic Petite Melrose watch has 2 sizes: 28mm and 38mm. I currently own the 28mm one since I prefer a small face watch than a big one. It provides an illusion that my wrists are small and dainty.

I seriously love Daniel Wellington’s minimal design. Although the brand is not luxurious, it still provides a sense of it due to its elegant design.

The cuff bracelet has two sizes: S and L. In this set, I got the S one. The cuff is in rose gold to match my rose gold watch - everything’s in harmony. As you can see in the photos, the brand name is engraved on the cuff itself. I love the watch + cuff combo and you won’t find me wearing one without the other. 

The set also contains an owner’s guide that provides instruction in changing your straps, cleaning your watch and adjusting the clasp. Honestly the instructions are a bit vague so I decided to learn those steps from DW’s official Youtube channel.

The set also includes this tool. Make sure not to lose it because you’ll be needing this in order to change your straps or adjust the clasp attached to your strap.

To change my style once in a while, I also got a Daniel Wellington Ashfield watch band. According to the official Daniel Wellington site, the Ashfield band compliments the rose gold watch. It’s quite tricky and difficult to change the straps. I spent at least 40 minutes in doing so!

By the way, since the Rose Gold is limited edition I suggest getting it while it’s still in stock. <3

Nails Of The Future, Nailbar MNL

Goodbye to the days where I have to struggle with nail polish. It’s time for stick-on nails. You can get them from Nailbar MNL - a trusted nail boutique.

I remember my obsession with nail polishes back in college. I love putting design on my nails but due to my busy schedule nowadays I do not have the luxury to do that anymore. Sure, I can go to nail salons but that’ll be expensive. What’s a girl on a budget gotta do??

Well, Nailbar MNL provides you an affordable Kylie Jenner luxe experience.

Just recently, they sent me two boxes of their nail extensions along with an alpha cyanoacrylate (nail glue) and nail file.

This one is in the shade of Black and Bougee in a square shape. It’s actually one of their latest shades and they wanted me to try it out. Compromising a total of 20 fake nails with 4 in a shimmery silver color while the rest are in a matte black color.

Attached onto their boxes are these sticky stuff wherein you can just reattach your nails whenever you please.

How to apply:

1. Trim your original nails by a nail cutter. 2. Buff your nails. This process will strengthen your nails for what’s to come. 3. Apply the glue onto the nail extension you want to attach to your original nails. 

TIP: Be super careful with handling the glue because after a few seconds you’ll feel a bit of heat and you might burn yourself.

4. If the nails are long for you, you can trim them with the file. Personally, I used a nail cutter since it’s more efficient then I used a nail file to tone down the edges.

You might be wondering, “Why can’t I just get nail extensions?” Yep, you can but that’s mighty expensive. Nail salons in Metro Manila malls can charge you at least P1500 for that and it depends on the length of extensions you’re choosing.

This brand offers various nail colors, nail arts, and nail shapes. I love how unlimited your choices are. It’s absolutely perfect to change depending on your mood.

Nailbar MNL nails can last up to 18 days. They’re reusable and you can use them while taking a bath. Experienced no damage or whatsoever. 

Cons: Thing is, when you’re wearing nail extensions (whether it be from Nailbar MNL or somewhere else) expect a life of doing nothing. Yep, it’s difficult to do your “daily activities” when you have nail extensions on. If you’re ready for that kind of life, give nail extensions a go.

Benefit Cosmetics Date Night With Mr. Right Review

I’m in love and it’s definitely with Benefit Cosmetics’ Date Night With Mr. Right. Trust me when I say that this kikay kit is a must have! From its packaging to the products included, everything is guaranteed to make you at your best.

Rejoice! If you’ve been wanting to own bestsellers from Benefit Cosmetics yet still wary if they’re worth it, their make up kits line is here to rescue. Their other make up kits are “Work It, Girl!” and “Sunday, My Prince Will Come”. Each kit is sold for P1900.

In case you’re wondering, they’re all minis or travel-sized. They’re noticeably small as compared to their regular counterpart. Despite that the size, they produce the same result and they actually deliver a lot of impact.

Date Night With Mr. Right kit is in yellow. In my opinion, the best looking kit is Sunday, My Prince Will Come (because of its color and simple design) but the products I’m digging the most from Benefit Cosmetics are included in the Date Night With Mr. Right.

Been wanting to try Watts Up for such a long time and I’m delighted that I finally got to own one now. I have never tried cream highlighters before and my Watts Up experience made me go, “Why haven’t I tried this???”

Most Filipinos stay clear from highlighters because it makes the face look more oily than it should, but including a dose of illumination in your make up routine would actually create an illusion of a natural and healthy-looking glow.

If you have a combination/oily skin type and you’ve tried Korean foundations before, you’re probably hating the illumination of what Korean foundations give. They just make your entire face shine and it doesn’t look flattering at all. Trust me, I tried it and I look like I sweat a ton! Yikes! 

Anyway, my point is buying the perfect highlighter would definitely change and upgrade your make up look.

Due to its sheer champagne color, the Watts Up glow on your face is subtle and flattering. It’s actually easy to blend and it can actually survive all day. I highly recommend it!

OMG. OMG. OMG. I have found my holy grail in Benefit Cosmetics’ Rockateur Blush. Been trying to find a golden peachy blush that looks great with my skin tone and I HAVE FINALLY FOUND IT.

The mini Rockateur comes with a customized angle brush. I just swipe it across the apples of my cheeks to give it a mild flush.

It’s the perfect “all day, err day Summer” blush. <3

Manila Bow Factory: Pastel Bows Sneak Peek + Review

For every occasion, Manila Bow Factory has your back. Their various design and colors would give you numerous OOTD ideas. Just recently they’ve sent me a box of their pastel bows.

I love bows. Heck, two of my debut gowns have bows on them. Bow hair clips are a staple accessory in my wardrobe. I love how its simple and lady-like look can give so much effect on the hair.

Upon trying it, I immediately noticed that it’s quite different from my other bow hair clips because 1) the Manila Bow Factory’s clip is easy to adjust and use, 2) the grip doesn’t hurt your head or hair, and 3) the bow is firm.

If you want look classy and feminine, opt for their cream bow. Add a bright pop of color for an unforgettable statement.

Did you know that violet was a color worn by the royalty, aristocracy, and the wealthy? My main debut gown was drenched in violet. Now, you know why. <3
