I drew up some Magic AU! Left: Nor the Vampire who is bored a lot, has an eating disorder, is bffs with a werewolf, and babysits James' 4y old. Right: James the single dad cafe owner, who's trans, incredibly patient, loves fancy sneakers and is in desperate need of a LEGAL employee. Bottom: Pumpkin, she is a blind Nax who was kept as a pet in the apartment block Nor lives in. The Landlady kicked the asshole out, gave Pumpkin a room and job (building security) and is now educating her on how to make her own decisions and be her own person. Also sign language.
