Ooh to mun:by any chance, is the Gun God gang inspired by the Nevermen album? ( and in case you are wondering, Doseone was in the Nevermen album and everytime I hear it, i hear Venuz and 2 others). The album is such a good harmonizing and vocals, if you have not heard it, I recommend a listen 👍

Surprisingly no, the Gun Gawdz were not inspired by anything in particular by NEVERMEN ((btw, I just checked out one of their songs “Mr. Mistake” and holy smokes, I love them already! You’re totally right, the harmonizing is so nicely tied together!)) They all came about because of two things:

Shoddi, Tzuka, and Ol’ Venuz were based on Gun Godz’s concepts “shotgun god”, “bazooka god”, and “machine gun god” respectively. You can see em right here:

Cross and U.V. came about more randomly when I drew Shoddi, Venuz, and Tzuka together. I thought at the time ‘hey! they kinda look like they fit Nuclear Throne’s different Ammo types!’ and Kabooya Ka’shaw, suddenly they’re all assembled together to form The Gun Gawdz.

But hey! Since you mentioned the NEVERMEN and i’m listening to their songs at this very moment, I might be… very tempted to add a few more details to them…))

Hello Jan, I've been following you for a while now and I'm curious, are you religious?

Very interesting question to ask, anon. I am not religious. My immediate family is not either. Doesn't mean I’ll outright talk smack about or hate someone else’s, though! Here, it just means that I don’t really do anything religion wise.

I’ll still support people and friends that are religious and do religious activities. People enjoy what they believe in and I’ll be content to know that what they believe in makes them happy. Heck, it ain't my place to say anything about it. Long as someone’s not forcing their stuff onto someone else then I've got no problem with them.

Glitter and gold was what I followed for but that's asking a lot

Oooooh glitter and gold! Man, I honestly do miss that project!

Gahhh, okay well here’s a bit of explanation for y’all, I didn’t get around to completely finishing the 2+ minute thing because I really wanted to include some super cool, super intense animation battles along with the sliding pictures and words.

What I wanted though might’ve been too big of a bite for me to chew and I ended up putting off the whole thing, like wayyyyy off. So off that I just ended up wanting to get something somewhat finished out without looking like I outright abandoned the idea all together! ;;~ o~) ==3

Trust me when I say that I had a LOT of stuff planned for glitter and gold. A couple of story boards for an overarching NT story about the journey to the throne following fish and gang and meeting up with the rest of the cast!!

And yooo I’m actually really glad you brought it up! It seriously makes my day to know that people really enjoy my content! Though I’m running short on time right now and I can’t get anything art related done due to school, I would definitely be up for continuing the project, or at least find some kind of compromise for that animation and still end up with something equally as neat. So while its not too much to ask, it’ll sure be one heck of a big ol thing to continue so I really could use all the support for when I am able to get to it, yo. Thanks for asking!
