Day Four: Free Day - Team-Up
Day 1: Duck
Jason felt his eye twitch as he looked at the scene before him. It had been twelve hours and he somehow managed to fuck up just about everything in the day, but that was nothing compared to Tim’s day apparently. Because there was currently in front of him a beautiful white duck and two ducklings standing on his kitchen table.
“Explain it to me, one more time.” Jason asked. The duck quacked at him and Jason held up a hand. “I was clearly talking to one who can still speak English.”
Steph sighed and rolled her eyes. “He got hit by a magic beam by the latest wizard of the week and turned into a duck. I figured the whole true love’s kiss thing might work so I brought him here.”
Jason nodded. “Okay, and the baby?”
“The kid we were protecting in the crossfire. Not sure if breaking one spell will break both.”
“And instead of contacting Z or the British bastard you brought Tim and a scared little kid… here.” Jason gestured around to his safe house.
“True love’s kiss.” Steph replied.
“How do I know this is really Tim and not some random duck? And this isn’t some elaborate scheme to get me to kiss a duck?” Jason looked her over and the duck quacked in a way that Jason would have to call indignant.
“I showed you the mask footage. Kiss the stupid bird.”
“What if it was a lie?” Jason argued, honestly mostly worried that his love wouldn’t be ‘true’ enough for the sake of saving his boyfriend from a lifetime of duckhood.
“Jason so help me if you don’t kiss the bird.” Steph started and the duck quacked loudly cutting her off.
“Fine!” Jason took a step closer to the table. “If I turn into a duck al la princes and the frog I’m gonna be so mad.”
Jason picked up the duck and placed a kiss on Tim’s bill before suddenly having an arm full of boyfriend.
“Never hesitate like that again!” Tim said before kissing Jason properly. “I was so scared you weren’t gonna kiss me.”
Jason hugged Tim tight and pulled him in for one last kiss. “I’d never leave you as a duck babe.”
