Here’s a lackluster John doodle. You know, when I think about it, I think John would be a decent pick to represent Homestuck in Smash. I think him and Vriska would both be decent and interesting, though they’d definitely be really quirky fighters, Vriska in particular. Also, Homestuck isn’t a game. Hmm, maybe if I had to pick someone from Hiveswap...? Xefros wouldn’t be a terrible pick if his psychic powers were stronger. Maybe further acts will elucidate a more appealing candidate?

Anyway, John. He’d probably be a weirdly strong but weirdly light and floaty characters. He could have several jumps like Kirby, making him basically fly all over the stage, but being difficult to keep control of, easy to slip off the stage or into an enemy’s attack, sending him flying. But he can also turn INTO wind, making him even wilier. At the same time, he’s freakishly strong, probably having slow attacks with lots of windup and lag. That’d be a unique combo, I think. He’d probably also have a lot of wooshy blowy nonsense going on, but that might just be too god damn annoying. Well, unless his final smash would be summoning a bunch of wind, hurting people and blowing them around, making it easy to fall off the stage, and still hurting them if not. That could work maybe? I’m just making all this up just now how does it sound to y’all?
