Gym Buddies?? | Caleb & Craig

It was the middle of Caleb's shift in the coffee bar and it hadn't been too terribly busy. There'd been a lot of banter with the opener, Sherise, but now she was heading home and he'd be alone for an hour. Despite being alone on multiple occasions and the lack of business, both in the coffee bar and the whole grocery store in general, he couldn't help but feel his anxiety peak a little bit when his help walked out the door. Still, he braved a smile for her and waved. He'd be fine.
He sighed then as he looked around. No one to actively talk to -- not even customers. How...morbidly depressing. He decided to pull out his small little notepad and write out some goals for himself. He'd still been stressing over not getting a part in the musical he'd tried out for and needed anything but the silence to drown those thoughts out. He was so focused on what he was doing that he didn't notice a customer come up until a few seconds later, eyes widening and cheeks flushing. It was a regular so he wasn't too terribly nervous.
"Hi! How are you? You don't have the kids today?" He asked, as he had seen the man with two twin girls and a small baby a few times, but he never came in with a woman with him. Of course, all the girls who worked in the store were always talking about him every time he came in.
