As some of you may know, we are pivoting. From scaling local SEO: www.advertory.com to automating referral marketing: www.keebitz.com.
You might think that there is no relationship between the two approaches. You're right. But our goal remains the same: helping small businesses acquire customers in the most effective way.
We went through the Techstars process. We learned a lot. We got to know our market from insight, thanks to the customer discovery process and we found out that 80% of the customers of established businesses come from referrals. It's a fact that every business owner knows. They call it word-of-mouth.
We are very thankful to David Cohen and the Techstars' team for helping us opening our eyes and moving from a problem/solution fit (advertory.com) to a product/market fit (www.keebitz.com).
We still have a long way to go. Still we are amazed by the market acceptance of keebitz.
Also today we got the chance to meet with Andy Sack, who shared his entrepreneurial and market experience with us. He strongly believes in keebitz, as he got the same idea in 2004. We are very grateful to Andy for his help in structuring the pitch. We could not have gotten better coach!
