Voel je als Iron Man met Avegant Glyph

Geloof het of niet, maar die lange treinreis of die lange vlucht hoeft niet meer lang te duren. Met deze koptelefoon krijg je het gevoel alsof je de nieuwe Iron Man bent. Draai de headphone voor je ogen, je chansons zwakken af en de film begint. Met de Avegant Glyph wordt er een beeld op je ogen geprojecteerd je hoeft dus niet bang te zijn dat je een barst in je scherm krijgt. Avegant Glyph noemt dit een ’Virtual Retinal Display’, maar om het makkelijk te houden gaan verdere verwijzingen over dit ’scherm’ onder de noemer VRD. Voor elk oog staan één miljoen micro-spiegels paraat om een levensecht beeld direct op je netvlies te reflecteren. 

Gebruik je Avegant Glyph dus als gewone headphone of als een personal screen. Je kunt de hoofdtelefoon aansluiten op elk apparaat dat voorzien is van een HDMI-aansluiting, maar ook je smartphone zorgt voor een prima beleving. Bestel je eigen  Avegant Glymph als je geïnteresseerd bent, maar vergeet niet dat het een kickstarterproject is en dat ze pas aan het einde van dit jaar van de loopband komen. Ben jij fan? Voor plusminus vierhonderd euro heb je dit supersonische apparaat in huis.
