✧ㅤ EXAM SAGA : I'M A CHANGED MAN SYNOPSIS: after the hell that was your mathematics and humanities exams, you decide to make some wiser choices, considering it's the last quarter. this results in you reaching out to one of the most responsible people you know; kim jiwoong (who ends up directing you to his friends instead). ✦ㅤ WHO?: digimonz, jiwoong, haobin, mentions of gunwook (zerobaseone) ✦ㅤ GENRE: sm!au (6imgs), short writing, semi-crack, semi-comfort.

and this short conversation is why you're walking out the campus cafe with hanbin. hao had left an hour ago, an urgent matter coming up just as he finished up his notes. after about four hours of studying and gossip (who knew that bin knew that much?), things were finally looking up, and bonus takeout coffee was purchased as a treat.

"wow, i didn't think i'd get so much done..." you muttered, scratching your head with a free hand. the words catch the older's attention as he walks by your side, and he raises an amused brow. "aren't you gunwook's second-in-command? i thought he'd drag you out to study with him."

a quiet giggle escapes you. "he has a grudge against me."

"oh?" this wasn't going to be serious, was it?

"i forgot to greet him on his birthday." no, it wasn't. both you and the ravenette even burst out laughing at this. waving your hand, you then huff, smirking a little smugly. "it's okay, he loves me- at least he even bothered to check in after yesterday."

(you weakly held up a weak thumb, laid in bed with your twenty-seven stuffed animals. gunwook stares in mild disbelief from the doorway, despite the deadpan. what an angel he was!)

hanbin sweatdrops, but smiles at the (inaccurate) visual he was getting in his head. his little ones were so thoughtful. "you'll do great this time, [name]," he then says, patting your shoulder. "keep hao and i updated! we'd love to hear if the session was helpful for you."

"we'll see tomorrow..." you respond as little dread sits in a pit in your stomach, alongside all the academic satisfaction. "thanks so much for the help. maybe i'll study with you guys all the time!"

CHIBA FUJIMORI (千葉藤森, ANY/ALL) one of the newer trainees who joined a few months ago. despite having lived in south korea for a year, adjusting is still difficult. friends are hard to make. language barriers are only being chipped away. at least this one girl was nice enough to try, and... maybe she actually likes them? they don't exactly know. at least there's somebody...
