Something about a piano played softly really speaks to me, pulls at my heart, and grants me a smile beyond the tone of tune itself. Sad, happy, angry, a gentle stroke of ivory can portray more than words could ever hope to if you listen well enough. Sure this particular song is accompanied by words to guide you through the meaning of the keys, but doesn’t that make it all the more beautiful? I could only hope to be half as good someday.
