Hell yeah I’m up for this. So I’m not spamming everyone’s dashes this is just gonna be a LOOK AT THIS MAN post right here.

Alright let’s talk about that boy Tom “Knuckles” Kühnhackl!

So this man is on of SEVEN active German players in the NHL right now. SEVEN!! That’s not a whole lot of Germans my dudes. His dad, Erich, was a hockey player too except he didn’t play in the NHL but the top German leagues instead.

ANYWAY. Tommy’s been with the Pens organisation since he was drafted in 2010, like a whole bunch of the boys he played with WBS for a while before coming up to the NHL. Sadly I cannot find a good quality picture of him during his time there. 

Here’s some random things about him:

- He loves the movie The Mighty Ducks

- He’s good bros with his fellow Younger Pens Dudes, look at this video of him playing a really aggressive game of two-touch with Guentzel and Rust. They’re such dorks. 

- His favourite team when he was a kid was actually the Penguins!

- He knows how to speak in Russian and Czech as well as German and English because of his father.
