Lets say I hated how Hollywood made Death Note to another Fifty Shades of Grey with no kinky sex but instead a mass murder scene >_< Although I find Light Yagami to be a complete brute and Light Turner to be a little wiener I felt like drawing his 2017 American counterpart wondering to see what he'd look like as an anime character. I'll be honest, I liked the idea of 2017's Light having a bit of bleached blonde hair instead of that redish/brownish shade. I'm not sure if I'll ever draw the original Light Yagami or any other characters from the show, but time will tell. So I just got done watching Netflix's take on Death Note &... it sucks. Just stick with the manga, anime, the other live-action films, whatever. I wouldn't recommend this to any fan. Here are some good things: Willem Dafoe as Ryuk was pretty cool, & I appreciate how it's "Rated R." However, blood & gore doesn't make a good film. The writing, directing, cinematography is terrible. This movie has some of the worst camera angles. I didn't like most of the actors portraying these characters, especially Light & L. This is pretty much the dumbest version of Light ever. He made so many stupid decisions & gets caught too quick. They even end it on a cliffhanger for a sequel. Please no! That's enough. Even if they do make a Death Note II, I'm not gonna watch it.
