Yeah ive been watching smallant on and off since... 2022 i think? Bc of zelda/pokemon (and eventually smo), and then when he started playing mcsr ranked i watched the vod he posted and started to do writing sprints per runs... and then feinberg hatewatching ludwig started to show up on my youtube recommendations and i was very hooked on it, but i didnt get REALLY into the scene until i watched couriway's video on the midoffs and thought "holy shit, this community is CRAZY!!!!! I need to watch more!!!" (And now im watching his vods of him coaching jumper bc of that lmao)

Also, i get how you got into speedrunning more as you got older but cant speedrun yourself. I have very bad hand coordination and could neverrrrr do any of that, though im OBSESSED with it. Ive watched many games speedruns through the years (a couple of zeldas, smo, hollow knight and then silksong), but tbh none of them get to be as Interesting as whatever is going on with minecraft... so im glad that the people who do it are also interesting/entertaining to watch. Shout out to couriway's 8k lore.......

EYHAHHHH god yeah pretty much all the same here. my transitioning period was me watching challenge videos w speedrunners (both in hbg and not) but couri n feinberg both (but mostly couri initially) were the reason why i got into primarily hbg also SAME HERE!!! god basically all the content i watch nowadays are just challenge runs w speedrunners. idk its just really fun, and i feel like you learn more compared to an avg playthrough bc they have that technical knowledge... even if they cant tell the difference between andesite, granite n diorite

also couris 8k lore makes me go fucking bonkers insane im losing it here. i dont have friends that are into mcsr so im in my cage walking in circles thinking abt it. i love 8k. i love lore. thats what got me hook line and sinker. guys who play casually but also put lore into it sometimes

his eyesight is a wee bit ass (very bad) so he has glasses! he refuses to wear them to school bc he hates how they look, so he wears contacts instead. at home he does wear them though

he cannot cook for the life of him. neither can his mother. they basically eat takeout exclusively for both of their safety

hes half french, half french-canadian :)) his father is french and his mother is from quebec, and she moved to uranium to be with him

because of this he speaks basically exclusively french at home despite both being fluent in english AND french (noel is more fluent then his mother)

he owns a journal and a scrapbook. the journal is for random 3am poems that come to mind, and the scrapbook is a neatly organized collage of poems, drawings ect. anything hes proud of (there is an entire section of just monique. it takes up most of the scrapbook.)

he obsessively uses pinterest and has like 50 boards.

his walls are NOT visible. they're a deep red but anything that he can stick on a wall is probably on his wall (theres an entire deck of cards to put it in perspective)

he love love LOVES polaroids. if he goes out somewhere he's bringing his camera. there's something about the physicality of it that makes him smile

aight slut bet i'm assuming you mean post-reunion and not when they're kids so that's what you're getting

-corey and mischa are NOT your average lovey dovey couple. absolutely not. they are complete and utter dicks to eachother but in the most affectionate way possible. they flirt in insults. (think of it as Those best friends who never say a nice thing to each other but still love eachother a lot. its that but romantically)

-despite this, they ARE in a healthy and communicative relationship! they've known eachother for so long that they know what's considered too far and when to chill out. they do have their very soft moments, it just so happens that they tend to happen at like. 5 in the morning after not sleeping for 22 hours.

-they are the childhood best friends -> enemies AND lovers trope but don't take the enemies seriously whatsoever

-corey wakes up first and tends to make breakfast for them, but mischa makes the better breakfast

-the exception is when mischa stays up until like. 7 in the morning to make corey breakfast before passing the fuck out on the couch (much to corey's chagrin)

-they are both adrenaline junkies but in their own ways. corey actively seeks it out, and mischa cant say no to a challenge

-when the choir plays truth or dare, mischa is banned because he doesnt think before doing whatever dare. ricky's dares are also unhinged. the only reason why corey isn't also banned is because he DOES think before doing his dares, he just ends up doing it anyway. and also leaving mischa and corey alone is a significantly worse idea

-corey LOVES flustering mischa as much as possible. mischa is a SAP, so the reason why corey finds satisfaction in making mischa buffer is because he enjoys seeing mischa, who's usually very uhhh. poet-y (noel may be the certified Poet of the three, but mischa is very emotional and can make very pretty words out of it) just. become speechless (plus hes known mischa for so long, so seeing him being unable to respond is very amusing considering how well they can read eachother)

-they both have scars caused from eachother from when they are kids. mischa has a scar on his nose from where corey pushed him down the stairs, and corey has several scars on his arms from where they got into play-fights (and one from where mischa bit him. he fucked around and found out) -mischa is a golden retriever and corey is a rottweiler. i am right

RANCHERS! so, so silly but for some reason i can't see them as a romantic pairing. they give me vibes that they'd be in a relationship for a while and that's what made them even closer as best friends. perhaps in a qpr??? they're the type that everyone thinks they're dating bc they're attached to the hip, but they're just "been there, done that, we're just friends"

i think i'm going to go the mezalea and 3l sort of route. like he can take energy from plants to get a temporary buff. either something strength related (3l) or defense (mezalea) the thing is when he does it, the plant dies so plays into the azalea, dead bush and butterfly thing. (plus hes literally dating martyn in this au so hes got plenty of plants lmao)
