     it’s something that cruella is still, slowly but surely, getting used to - being affectionate with somebody, showing more than the bare minimum of physical connection. of course, it would be anita darling to be the one to break the cold spell. 

     cruella’s hands are wandering, searching for buttons that she undoes as soon as they are fastened, a zipper that she pulls open soon after. as soon as skin is exposed, her lips are pressed to it, leaving warm kisses along anita’s back and shoulders as she continues to get ready, despite the other’s best efforts. 

          ❝postpone, darling. you’re their best writer, they can forgive you being late. tell them you were out chasing a story, or whatever it is that they do.❞

3. how often do they show their genuine emotions to others versus just the audience knowing?

literally NEVER. it’s not that she doesn’t have genuine emotions. she’s human and she feels like everybody else, but she’s learned that wearing them on your sleeve leads to nothing but trouble.

8. how loose is their use of the phrase ‘I love you’?

if cruella de vil tells you she loves you, she either absolutely means it 100% seriously and expects you to treat it as a groundbreaking revelation or she’s being snarky with you, those are the only times she uses it.

14. how do they put out a candle?

she does the whole,,, licking her fingers and pinching it thing because she’s absolutely UNHINGED.

34. how do they greet someone they like / love?

someone she likes will be greeted with probably a little cheek kiss and a ‘darling’. someone she loves is greeted with probably a hand somewhere on their body and a small smile, she doesn’t do affection very well

     cruella had honestly expected a little more of a fanfare upon entering the journalist’s office. instead she finds herself handed a stack of papers and before she can protest, the pile GROWS.

     nobody in the world would treat cruella de vil this way. nobody, of course, except for anita darling. 

          ❝darling, i wanted to talk about the next shoot, i’ve had some ideas and quite frankly, they’re BRILLIANT- are you quite finished?❞
