In my world some military tech have Dino DNA in them to further advance their tech and military power, however, this also comes with some odd tendencies and animal like instincts, Jurassic Park does sorta exist in my universe (i say sorta bc I'm not exactly all informed about Jurassic Park so I'm learning as I go basically) people don't know it exists nor do they know about the Splicing DNA going on with their own bot tech so

Okay, so I haven't played Origins yet, but....

Is there some weird ethereal visions thing that's become a trend in the games now? Is there some lore relevance and the consequential struggle?

First, it was the Animus, even though it's from the modern era, that lets you look into memories but overexposure to it causes the Bleeding Effect.

Then, there was the Red Willow Tree from TOKW, but it was dismissed as an Apple of Eden dreamcast. But it showed you Desmond's demise, even though I'm pretty sure the person viewing the memoried is an Abstergo employee and not Desmond anymore.

After, you get the Initiation rite Arno had to do in Unity to become an Assassin, where when you drink something EERIELY similar to the Willow tea that sends you to a mindf*** wrecked landscape to traverse through.

And now Bayek with the Gods trials.

Just have to ask. I feel like this should be talked about.
