Wolfgang's eyes blinked open slowly. His head was pounding and the world was shaking under him. He took a deep breath only to tense, body on alert immediately as snippets of last night's events returned to him. He bit back a groan of discomfort as he sat up and his back and head complained loudly. Still, he reached instinctively for where he usually kept his gun only to find it was missing. Fuck. Wolfgang's eyes took in his surroundings, skirting over what appeared to be another person a few feet from him for the moment as he recognized the outfit. He stood slowly, limping his way over to Laurie and nudging him with his foot once before leaning down to make sure there was a pulse.

Will whistled as he walked around the scene, commenting on the terrain as he did and encouraging Wolfgang to find a weapon fast. "I'll do some research in a few. You need to find clean water..."

Wolfgang grunted at Will before sighing and smacking Laurie a few times just hard enough to get him to awaken. As the gold-flecked orbs looked up at him, he asked, "can you stand?"

He let out a humorless chuckle. "In my experience, people overestimate how much truth they can handle." Regardless, it was a moot point, he'd lost track. "It's more than I kept track of, I can say that much. Why does it matter, anyway?"

Gaden wasn't a fast walker either, so Laurie's hand would stay on his back as long as he kept it there. He was used to hands—albeit Volker's—allover his body. Seriously, there wasn't anywhere (i.e. penile and rectal grafts) he hadn't been touched for medical purposes. So a friendly hand on his back was simply ... comfortable.

"He's got both our numbers on his tag," answered Gaden, looking between Cooper, and Laurie, and the absence of Scrappy.

"It's really cool you guys are here, helping me look for 'im ... " He gave an unconscious squeeze to Laurie's arm. "It's almost a shame he doesn't go AWOL more often ... "

Gilmary had noted the bag very early on but decided not to ask about it; after all, there was a chance the contents of said bag had nothing to do with him, and he wanted to avoid that kind of embarrassment.

He decided to take ‘mysterious’ as a compliment, since he generally tried to avoid the surlier of Irish stereotypes but he knew the word always came with connotations—most frequently an indignation towards the fact that he, as doctor, knew more about them than they did about him. They is patients, of course.

“I wouldn’t know who you talk to, Laurie,” Gil said evenly, “since you’ve never mentioned any friends or relations, and I don’t tend to pry about either of those, since they most always are a highly sensitive subject … ”

Leaning in to look at the photo meant he’d be (albeit temporarily) a lot closer to Laurie, which Gilmary didn’t mind at all, and he used up every ticking second he was given an excuse to compare his features to the bloodied version on the little screen. There was a moment or a glimpse of one in which Gilmary raised his hand to run his fingers along the area of healing but he caught himself before his elbow even twitched like he was thinking about touching the other man.

“Remarkable,” was all he said, because be it photo or man, something indubitably had been doctored ... and as expertly as Gilmary had ever seen. "So ... You still willing to share your tricks?"

he had had his eye on this one throughout the whole of the year. if he had to bet on who was going to end up underneath him in this office, he would've won hands down. too bad he hadn't. "lock the door? why would i do that?" he questions, with a tilt of his head. "i didn't peg you for being shy." they were still within office hours, and the door indeed was still unlocked. but ezra is aware that the students who needed to attend today were all flunks, just like laurie. and at the end of the day, what did it matter? no one would believe them if they spoke out, anway. ezra's reptuation here was too solidified in it's culture for it to make any difference.

his hand leaves laurie's hip, and he pushes it underneath his shirt. copping a feel as he raises the material above and over the other's head. and he takes the opportunity, as shirt is passing over his face, to roll his hips forward into laurie's, pressing him further into the desk. god, he loved this time of year. laurie was being such a desperate little slut for him.

daniel hadn't been sure if he had meant it as a challenge, but he'd be lying if he said that he didn't like the way things were turning. does he think he can stay quiet? fuck no. was he willing to try anyway? fuck yes. and did he have the money to pay out if he lost? sure. so, what would daniel get if he won? he smiles as he's tugged closer, and leans into the affectionate touch on his cheek. thinking.

"...if they don't, then you extend the stay. try again in the morning. oh, and breakfast is on you." because while he could pay out, struggling university student status meant that if he could avoid it, he would. he presses himself closer, kissing laurie's neck. "so if we have a deal, what are you waiting for?"

Wolfgang let out a slow breath he didn't even realize he'd been holding when Laurie finished showing him just how effective his newest gadget was. "Fuck." did more need to be said? He was impressed. And there was a part of him that knew it'd make him an easy mark for Laurie to hike up the price if he was so inclined but... Wolfgang had never been a good liar. Which was shit when you thought about it; lying was sort of a prerequisite for all the other crimes he committed. "How long until you have one ready to sell?" that particular gadget seemed to have the potential to speed up his already fast break in and disarm times.

Spike cursed as Lawrence stumbled against him on account of being temporarily dazed by the ambulance that'd turned lights and sirens on at the most inopportune moment. "Fucks sake! You've got to get that shit under control," he complained even as he moved to dig out the pair of sunglasses he kept for himself in his duster. He grumpily handed them to the other, "you gonna be good to do this hand off tonight or need me to take care of it?" Spike checked. His motives were ... ambiguous at best, he was sure he'd find a way to spin it into his favor and screw someone over in the process. Time would tell. He hadn't quite decided how long he'd be staying in this town.
