hello, everyone! it's been a while since i've been on this blog. :") it's nice to see that there are still some people that have been liking the works i wrote back then!
so much has happened since i was last on here — i've moved countries (again) and am taking a new diploma course! i'm actually in my first semester, and it's been challenging but also very educational.
the reason i decided to come back and post something here is because i don't like the idea of loose ends on this blog. it must be clear to everyone now, but i've lost my fuel to write for nct. it isn't anything serious or sudden, but kind of the natural slowdown of interest as a result of getting into new things and being busy with all these new aspects of my life. kpop as a whole is a little less at the forefront of my interests now, so that likely contributed to this as well.
what does this mean for this blog? on the most obvious front, it means i won't be logging in to check on it too much anymore (i've kind of stopped that in general, to be honest). it also means none of my series will be continued — at least not for nct. there are some series i want to continue, but for a completely different fandom; i'm probably looking at last night on earth and a lesson on style as a couple of possible choices i might edit and continue in another context. should that happen, the fics i'll be changing up will be removed from this tumblr and from the AO3 associated with this tumblr.
this doesn't mean i'm getting rid of everything, though! in fact, i think, for the most part, what's been published here will remain. works like sweet cream, cold brew/salted caramel and love on the floor were written with specifically nct in mind, and i kind of like looking at these one-shots as reminders of a certain time in my life that i really enjoyed.
thank you to everyone who followed my blog and who sent in such kind messages to me. i've made great friends on here, and i've learned so much about writing by participating in the nct ficdom experience. those are memories i'll always cherish and look back on fondly! thank you for giving me something to feel excited about and inspired by.
this may be a goodbye, or this may just be a see you later! we may cross paths again, and to be honest, i hope that day will come. i've got another blog (currently blank) set up for my next journey into fandom and writing, so if anyone wants it, feel free to shoot me a message or something!
