so in the books it is well-established that percy's sword riptide looks like a pen until he uncaps it and then it does sword stuff. luke's sword backbiter has no such equivalent even though presumably he's not sauntering around the modern world with a sword (which is bigger than percy's sword btw it's a longer sword just so you know).

so i decided luke's pen equivalent is a single die as in dice. inspired by hermes' line in the show about las vegas being the reason for half the demigods who occupy his cabin in camp half-blood. crazy thing to say. whatever

the implication here is that kronos charmed/cursed/enchanted backbiter to take the form of dice since backbiter was originally kronos' scythe (and will be forged into the scythe once again eventually). and kronos certainly knows the association with vegas since im pretty sure he knows everything. so. sorry luke. your peepaw is trolling you. and so am i
