the average recently banished man of rohan experience
'sad pathetic knight whose purpose has abandoned them, so they have to look for a new one': if my characters don't already start out that way, it seems I'm irrestibly drawn to pushing such a fate upon them.
Maerstan: knight of Cliving, abandoned by his thane for being a yapper and a fool
Fajar: knight of Umbar, abandoned by her superiors and by god (Sauron) through no fault of her own (they all died)
Munher: not a real knight but has the vibes. forced to abandon her tribe to fulfill her Fém and live with the Dúnedain of the North (over 30 years ago, but it counts). the only one who's not pathetic and the best at hiding her sadness, but it's there.
