I'm a bit late to the party lol, but I can't stop thinking of Mallow and Shaymin. Ash is chilling in the classroom, waiting for recess to be over, and mallow comes in, rashes all over her legs and arms, with her EpiPen terribly hidden in her pocket, in her other arm is Shaymin, happy as can be.
Mallow:So I wasn't the one who tried the leaves this time!

Exactly. It’s gives him a little bit of a reaction from experiencing and teaching Rei how take care of a Shaymin but it’s helping him come to terms with what happened in Hisui little by little.
