THE MANOR, task one.

I am so excited that we are this much closer to opening for IC it’s unreal. But, before we can do that I’d love to see some character building or learn more about your muses! This task is going to have multiple parts, all of which are optional and can be done at any time! They’re more here for suggestions on what to post or how you can world build for your character. And who knows? These little things may appear within events in the future.

TASK ONE, option a. 

The biography! It’s something that most people have in their minds already, and some have even written out but i kind of want to challenge you guys a little! in ten or less photographs I want you to try and grasp important things that may link to your muses past / childhood. They could be anything from flowers to video games and then below the images write what they show and how they connect back. 

I think this could be a fun approach to the usual write a bio, and of course you can always write a proper biography as well!

TASK ONE, option b.

CHARACTER TROPES are huge in horror films, we all know how it goes. The bimbo, the jock, the brain... But good horror movies are able to turn that trope into so much more. For this one I want you to look at horror movies or even regular films and pick out characters who could represent your muse, or give off the same vibe!

Some examples would be: Marty from Cabin in the Woods, Homer Simpson from The Simpsons, Summer from Rick and Morty, Luke from Haunting of Hill House

Don’t worry about over lapping with others on this task, like if someone else says Marty but you feel Marty fits your muse really well that’s entirely fine! Also, feel free to do as many as you want!

manor task two, part 1 “fashions fade, style is eternal.”

she’s never nothing but prepared. her routine in the morning is to get up, wash her face, brush her teeth, and jump in the shower. if she were to die now, she’d be wearing black skinny jeans, with an oversized cream sweater with the sleeves cuffed, a black belt with a golden buckle, and and dark ankle boots to match with a forest green, velvet scrunchie on her wrist. she’d more than likely have a pair of golden hoop earrings, a small gold necklace that was a birthday gift from her ex, and just a touch of the make up she puts on daily. her hair would be wavy and unstyled aside from the few bits she’s pinned back. on her, she’d have her phone, her keys and wallet attached to their lanyard, maybe headphones stuck in her pocket if she felt like tolerating them that day.

what she wish she had on her was a jacket and her purse. while she swore she would never be that bitch that carried a massive purse on her, she turned into one. in her bag she’d like to at least have a water bottle, granola bar, gum, a pocket edition of pride and prejudice, a small note pad, and a pen. she’d definitely wanted to have taken the time to maybe curl her hair and put on a less rushed version of her make up. 

tl;dr: you’ll never catch her slippin.

TASK ONE, option b.

manor task two, part one

the thing about nate, is that he doesn’t have much. travels extremely light. he’s never had an excess of anything and maybe has enough clothes to fill one large duffle bag. there were times where he was fortunate to have a bit more than that, but a lot of what he did have stayed at his ex-girlfriends house when he just up and left for the manor.

if he were to die today, nate would be freshly showered; he knows what being dirty feels like and despises it, he doesn’t take being clean for granted. he’d be wearing jeans, boots, a dark grey long sleeve/thermal and a black leather jacket. on him, he’d have a deck of cards, his phone, his wallet, the wallet he stole from his brother ten years ago, and another that he had taken from some man before arriving. he’d also have a watch on his wrist as well as one in the jacket pocket, paired with a silver ring he slipped off someone’s finger not too long ago. in a few random cervices throughout his jacket he has flash paper, spoon stems, and everything you’d need to pick a variety of locks. we’re going to ignore the small baggie of coke sitting in his inside jacket pocket though.

ideally, he’d have everything he has on him now, but would love to have found a way just to strap the guitar joakim gave him several years ago to his back. as long as he had everything he typically does, he wouldn’t feel like he’s really missing anything too badly, maybe a picture of him and his brother from when they were younger would be nice though.

what about your first nightmare?  clowns.  it  was  definitely  clowns,  with  razor  sharp  teeth.   he  still  doesn’t  fuck  with  clowns.

do you prefer coffee, or tea?  coffee.

if you could curse ANY animal off the planet, which would it be?   gorillas.  they  freak  him  out,  unsure  as  to  why.  

if i told you the manor was haunted, would you believe me?  oh  100%.   he  believes  in  ghosts,  aliens,  everything.  he’s  a  believer.  

will you follow the rules?  maybe.  until  they  inconvenience  him.

happy death day || task 002

gabriel would die in a pair of jeans, white henley and his favorite pair of boots. on his person would be his digital camera, cell phone, car keys and a leather bracelet from his mother. if he had to pick, he’d be wearing the same outfit and accessories but wearing the necklace that he hides in his dresser drawer which was a gift from his brother. his first sobriety chip.

gabriel would die by being chased in the dark in the woods. he wouldn’t know his way as his phone died and there was not one flashlight in sight. when he sees the shadow, his first instinct is to run but he’d be caught every time. sometimes being strangled to death, sometimes being stabbed but never seeing the light of day again. different scenarios every time.

TASK ONE, option d. - JUSTICE REGAN.

What’s your full name? “Justice Blair Regan,” They nodded their head with a kind smile, “nice to meet ya.”

And how old are you? “Twenty-one. I’m legal babyyy.” Justice laughed while pointing their thumbs at themselves jokingly. 

What pronouns do you prefer? “I prefer they and them, please.” 

What was your favorite game growing up?  “Well.. video game? Or game as in.. I don’t know, hide and seek?” They asked, “For a video game, definitely pokemon and super smash bros. Also club penguin. As a second answer, I guess I’d stick with my original – Hide and seek.”

What was the first scary movie you ever saw? “My mom didn’t exactly let me watch scary movies,” they shrugged, “I wanna say Scream? I don’t even remember, honestly.” 

What about your first nightmare? ”My First? Seriously?” They asked, “Uh.. I’ve had some where I’ve been arrested, or I almost died.. But that’s all I can remember at the moment.”

Do you prefer coffee, or tea? “Coffee, for sure. I like tea too; it’s extremely relaxing, but at the end of the day coffee tastes better and it actually wakes me up.” 

If you could curse any animal off the planet, which would it be? “Aw.. but – animals.” They frowned, their bottom lip protruding in a pout, “I guess spiders? I don’t know – I don’t want to curse anything. Let alone an innocent animal.”

If I told you the manor was haunted, would you believe me? “Oh, yeah..” They scoffed, “I definitely believe in ghosts, and the amount of times my door has randomly opened without anyone touching it isn’t any human’s doing. So yes, I believe you.” 

Will you follow the rules? “Rules?” Their eyebrow raised in question, “Uh, yeah. Sure I’ll follow them.” They replied with hesitation in their voice.

luke crain – i mean... heroin addict, sad boi energy, believes in and has experienced the paranormal...

chidi anagonye – lots of questions, very few answers, love when other people make decisions for them, obsessed with one (1) thing.

lacie pound – first of all: my favorite episode of black mirror UGH. second of all: really cares about how they’re perceived (i mean... lacie ends up in jail for her reception being so poor at the end (and i dont care what anyone says it’s also my favorite ending yes i loved san junipero but it was so liberating) and fluke wouldn’t but... still...), will do things just to make other people like them, so many things to say that they just cannot™, forgot how to insult people.

charlie brown – you know, i wouldn’t say he’s as self-pitying as charlie brown, but the quotes that come up when you search ‘charlie brown quotes’ are somehow more fitting than ‘linus quotes’ – was not expecting that. time to write a paper on charlie brown in conjunction with absurdism. 

eeyore – last night i woke up and was like ‘FUCK I FORGOT EEYORE’ because i literally call him ‘eeyore’ all the time. is just an eeyore.

sisyphus – the poster boy for absurdism. anyway. it’s not like fluke was like ‘hey, wife, i’m gonna die and my dying wish is that u put me in the town square’ then was allowed to come back to earth to chastise his wife for not burying him and putting him at rest then proceeding to live out the rest of his days in extreme comfort. no, we’re just talking about the boulder. idk man, it’s just that... constant terrible feeling followed by an hour’s worth of conscious hope. wash, rinse, repeat.
