What happens when you take a cherry ale and age it in a barrell that not only aged bourbon but also maple syrup? You get Frootwood by @foundersbrewing a slighty sweet, pleasently tart brew. The dual used barrels add a level of complexity to the cherry ale in both scent and taste. Oak notes, maple sweet, boutbon warmth, and a hint of vanilla. This ale comes in at 8% ABV.
