My half of a little collab with @mausflug, in which we both drew an imagined crossover of our DnD characters, her Ophelia and my Willow!

In the only tavern for miles, a very skilled bard leaves the performance stage after having enough of the rowdy locals not appreciating her fine talents - they just want coarse drinking songs to croon along to. But a few minutes later, the bard is approached by a travelling druid - one who appreciates the quieter side of life - that has also found themselves in the crowded bar while passing through. The druid didn't want to leave without taking a moment to provide a kind word to the bard, since she really enjoyed the music for what little she could hear. They chat for a while, and not long after, outside the bar, with the rain providing a shield of white noise against the rabble inside, a little private performance of appreciation takes place before the two part ways on their travels.

For mine, I imagine this as either a general AU or set before Willow's campaign (hence Willow Classic depicted in the art), whereas Mausflug went for one that could fit quite nicely into Willow's campaign story, from shortly after she became a bit Mindflayer-y.

A hem, ripped at the last minute, led a nervous young druid to a small garments shop.

the owner was too busy with another customer (with obviously deeper pockets), and wouldn't even look at her while she explained her predicament.

A bard who was browsing through the good and witnessed the scene had mercy on her.

On her way to a mirror the halfelf snatched needle and yarn from a working table and asked the fidgeting druid to step on a floor cushion.

while the damage gets repaired with quick and secure stitches, both have little chat - about stage costumes that constantly need repairing, about upcoming events that call for formal wear, how living in a big city can be exciting and exhausting at the same time.

"there's no need to be nervous dear. you look gorgeous. everyone who doesn't agree, is neither worth your time nor your attention."

a little ember of self-confidence began to shine in the druids heart, hopefully warming her a little for the rest of the night.

the last stitch is done and right on time bard and druid are ushered out of the door.
