How I feel about this character

It’s...it’s complicated. Even if we go pre-698, we gotta admit that Kishimoto did some damage to the portrayal of his character. He used to be very complex, interesting character, a good person despite all the hardships he had suffered through, which was what attracted me about him the most. But then it slowly got changed into a type of Ninja-Jesus that for some reason said that the murderer of his parents is cool (?!?) wat. Anyways, he’s still one of my favorite characters ever and yes, his handsome physique is also a plus lmao.

All the people I ship romantically with this character

*picks a long list* SasuNaru, GaaNaru, NaruNeji (’cuz Torrid), SaiNaru, and long time ago KakaNaru (idk how I feel about it nowadays).

My non-romantic OTP for this character

Naruto and Shikamaru. *thinks for a while* Iruka and Naruto too.

My unpopular opinion about this character

I wish the dark!Naruto arc extended a little. Talked more about Naruto’s previous resentment towards the villagers and how he slowly changed himself about it. It’d be nice that he’s still a little hesitant to their complete change towards him, I mean, he suffered his entire childhood and just because he saved Konoha everyone praises him? Eh. Because of that I wanted him to be MUCH more hesitant becoming a Hokage and either becoming so he can change the entire ninja system (that didn’t happen btw) or realizing that being Hokage is not enough to change the way he wanted and (answer below)

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

Then he’d go with Sasuke and travel around the world helping everyone and slowly dismantling the ninja system.

How I feel about this character

BABYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY He’s so cute you know. I want to squish his cheeks and ruffle his head. I love his tenacity, his optimism while being pretty aware of his limitations, so I love his character development in the manga. Seeing him growing makes me feel like a proud mama.

KageHina, the perfect dorky duo.

My non-romantic OTP for this character

Tsukishima and Hinata, Kenma and Hinata, Bokutou and Hinata (I mean, the fanarts and the manga showing Bokutou as some sort of daddy owl and his crow son is so cute)

Hm, I don’t have much.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

I hope he’ll be able to play at the national Japanese volleyball team, that would be great. But with Oikawa as a setter, it’d be pretty amusing (Kageyama at first would be the reserve setter).

Wow, the translation seems weird, there. The official French translation says "In fact, it might be even more cruel than if you had no way to come back to the way you once were. It depends on you..." And then, next page, the first bubble : "...with Kurogane." It depends on you with Kurogane. :)

Omg thank you everyone so much for all your encouragements really ;/////; it means so much to me///////// I feel very touched, thank you;;  I still have 3 hours to wait, I hate waiting, it makes me always more nervous ahah so I was loosing my calm, it’s so hard to relax////

You’re right! He does say that! 

Or at least, in the English translation, he says “I will need them to get the feathers back”. Which is a little vague. 

I think I had assumed he meant he needed Fai’s powers to travel between worlds, but if Fai’s powers were to help find the feathers I suppose that works just as well. 

It would also explain why he asks Fai if there any other feathers in this world, instead of, say, Mokona.
