---A NIGHT TO REMEMBER! With the sun setting on the horizon and an empty stage beginning to become lively with people rearranging instruments and tuning them, plugging them into the speakers, some curious event goers began gathering around the stage to check what was going on. It didn’t take long for Ryder West and Odette Stevens to show up for a surprise jam session of some of their old songs, as well as some tunes that they had written during their time flying solo. The crowd begins to cheer, clapping and singing along to the songs they already knew. Seemed like the perfect ending of a successful festival.

That is our last plot drop for the event! Players are welcome to work on it as time passing for their threads. We’re very happy with everyone’s participation on the event! Thank you so much, fam! Happy plotting!

As most people were still debating on who had done it, the room filling with a light buzz coming from people whispering their theories here and there, not many cared to notice one quiet Aislinn Sutton, who approached the table and picked up a key with Jane Glasgow’s name carved on it. She inserted it into the box and turned, hearing a loud click as she had managed to unlock it, revealing a check inside the box. The moment it happened, a few head turned towards the blonde, but it was only when Mr. Walsh entered the room, now dressed with a suit that was completely free of that fake blood they had covered him with, that more people paid attention to what was going on.

He announced Aislinn Sutton as the winner of the challenge that evening for having guessed right who had killed him and urged the blonde to get her prize from the box. A few pictures were taken with the host, his killer and the winner, and then, Mr. Walsh reminded everyone that although this part of the party was over, that the guests were free to continue enjoying the ball. He thanked everyone for their presence and exited the room.

We’ve received two messages and Leila was the first to send in an ask and she got it right! While we don’t have 1,500 USD to give her, like we’ve said before, to celebrate our 3 month anniversary, we’d be gifting the winner of this little event with a manip, ten icons and an aesthetic graphic. We’ll be posting the print screen of our inbox in the OOC blog in a moment!

We hope you guys enjoyed out little murder mystery as much as both admins enjoyed wracking out brains out to come up with these little clues to you. Just a reminder that the event is still on until Monday, October 31st at 6PM EST so you still have plenty of time to plot with your characters.

Each and every clock inside of the rooms that composed the mansion showed the guests they were reaching nowhere, searching for clues that didn’t exist, holding onto the ones they already had, those who shared the fact that the murderer was a blonde woman. And they would be able to continue their quest, if it wasn’t for the fact that the lights were off, making everyone assume the power was off until a spotlight aimed to a table in the midst of the living room. Watching as no one else moved in that direction, Alice Jenkins decided to do so, slow steps towards the coffee table, watching as on top of it there was a note, a riddle:

“Once in the spotlight... always in the spotlight.”

And once her eyes moved to the side, she understood it was their last clue, because sitting right next to the note there was a locked box and a bowl with keys four keys, each of them with the name of a guest carved on it, that consisted on the suspect of the murder: Jane, Charlotte, Phillipa and Arielle. The ones that who had their attention caught by Alice’s actions, stood there as they analyzed the situation and tried to decide who had done it. They had the chance of choosing one key, and trying their luck. If they were right, they’d get the prize. If they didn’t, that was too bad. At least, there was still a party they could enjoy.

Gather the clues, choose the murderer and come to us, if you think your character knows who the person is, send us an ask with the name of the person who killed Mr. Walsh (you have only one chance, so take your time). You’ll have until 6pm EST of tomorrow (Sunday) to send us your answer. And since we don’t want this to be unfair to those who have only one character, even if you have two or three character, you can only send us one ask. Also, if more than one player guess it right, the first person who sends us the answer, will win. We’ll take a print screen of our inbox, so that we can be fair to everyone.

As people became more invested in trying to figure out who had killed Mr. Walsh, Mia Dalton and Alectrona Burgess decided that interviewing the staff members could help them more than looking for details in such a huge mansion. Since the last clue had been discovered through one of the women who was working at the event that evening, the two women took upon themselves to chat up with every other staff member. They came across one of the waiters who was taking care of the people in the garden area, who actually had something useful to tell them.

“I didn’t see much... All I know was that she was blonde. Mr. Walsh must’ve done something really bad to piss that woman off, right?”

He spoke louder than most would, perhaps so that more people could hear this clue, too. When asked if he remembered the color of her dress or any other detail that might help them, the man simply shook his head and claimed that it was too dark to see much and that she had stepped away from the scene too quickly, so he only caught sight of her hair color.

Time was passing and it seemed no one was getting somewhere, guests wandering around the mansion with a flute of champagne in their hands, discussing the possibilities, expecting the discover of a new clue. Nothing. Frustration was hearing some of them, but there were those who wouldn’t give up. Whether because they didn’t enjoy the idea of losing or because of the prize they could get if they finally discovered who did. And soon, another clue reached someone’s ears.

Upstairs, Diego Olmedillo and Aislinn Sutton had their paths merged once they both stopped in front of a closed, but unlocked, door. There was the sound of a woman crying, and opening the door due to curiosity wasn’t a problem. Their pair of eyes soon noticed the staff member just as fast as the woman noticed their presence as well and it didn’t take her long to share the words and the reason why she was in that state.

      “I don’t know why she did it. Why would someone kill such a good man?”

She? That was the question, and all the woman did was nod. While she hadn’t seen the face of the person who killed Mr. Walsh, she had heard her voice clearly and certainty was carried in her words, in everything the staff member repeated to both Aislinn and Diego: that a woman had been the one who did it. And now there was another question inside everyone’s mind, once everyone got the knowledge of the new clue. Which woman? As they turned around, they’ve realized that they weren’t alone anymore. Someone else had heard their conversation and was now spreading the news about these discoveries, possibly to make people fight harder for the prize.

The clock strikes 8 and a scream of one of the women member of the staff is heard from over the music, making the heads turn towards the doors giving way to the garden, a part of the house where there hadn’t been that much movement so far.

Upon arriving on site, the host, Nathaniel Walsh is laying on the floor. His glass of champagne is shattered next to him and his body is covered by a vivid tone of fake blood. On top of him lays a note that is read by another member of the staff and it says:

       “The clock is ticking. Find the clues, find the killer.”

While some are too preoccupied with their drinks to pay attention to the game, others began stepping away to start looking for clues. Eden Moretti was watching the scene closely and as she stepped back, possibly to start looking for the clues too, she stepped on something that caught her attention. A silver candle holder that was covered on the same fake vivid red liquid that was now on Mr. Walsh’s body. If this was used to kill Mr. Walsh, it’s probably left splatters on the killer’s clothes or skin.
