he wears turtlenecks because the scars make other people uncomfortable. to eunho, they're markers of progress, badges of honor, each healed gash is another wanderer dead and gone (until it reforms again somewhere down the line). the gnarly burn stretching down his back from the lash of a flamma ignis — back when he was just a field agent, though no less willing to jump into the front lines — is the one that draws the most stares, evne if only slivers peek out from his tank tops, puckered and discolored skin still stiff and achey all these years later.
eunho hasn't done the math yet. maybe he's spent equal time recuperating from injuries sustained in the field as he has fighting the good fight. it'd be funny if it wasn't so sad, that he's got no one to nurse him during his convalescence. he tries not to think too hard about it.
