I worry about the quality of the nourishment found at Big Rico's. But everyone knows, no one does a slice like Big Rico.
Sunday Songs #101 - Chiron Beta Prime by Jonathan Coulton
You know those round-robin letters you get at Christmas from aquaintances that you don't hear from for the rest of the year. Telling you about which one of the twins made the hockey team this year, and how the new kitchen installation was just a total upheaval.
Well here's the brilliant riposte from the always-brilliant Jonathan Coulton. It's a letter from the Anderson family who are spending their Christmas working in a mine on a prison planet, enslaved by robot overlords. It's very Christmassy and worth watching again and again.
Merry Christmas! And don't eat the Soylent Green - it's + + MESSAGE REDACTED + +
Merry Christmas from Chiron Beta Prime Where we're working in a mine For our robot overlords Did I say overlords? I meant protectors Merry Christmas from Chiron Beta Prime
The other Christmas song that means something:
Jonathan Coulton's Chiron Beta Prime.
This year has been a little crazy for the Andersons. You may recall we had some trouble last year. The robot council had us banished to an asteroid. That hasn't undermined our holiday cheer. And we know it's almost Christmas by the marks we make on the wall. That's our favorite time of year.
I, for one, welcome our new Robot Overlords.
And I hail Coulton as their King!
