@miejinarchived asked:
violet : how does your muse respond to betrayal ? / for tarquin
Badly. Tarquin is someone who tends to keep to himself, refrain from reaching out to others or becoming attached to people in any way, so when he does consciously make the decision to lean on them, to put his trust in them, and they purposefully break it, there is no way to ever return to what they had before. It’s unfortunate for them, but Tarquin’s memory is flawless, and if anything, what he has going for himself is the ability to hold a grudge, sometimes even until death ( if the betrayal is severe enough to warrant it ). He will never trust them again; even if they try to make amends and even if they somehow manage to return to neutral ( truce ) terms as most likely courtesy of a 3rd party. He won’t hide his displeasure either, if they were to meet once more, and Dragonspine may feel much colder than usual, if they dared step foot on it again.
@cauterisen asked:
nasturtium : describe your muse’s relationship with their birthplace , or homeland . (for tarquin!!!)
Tarquin adored Sal Vindagnyr when he was human. Ever since youth, he felt a high affinity to the place; being able to find shortcuts and learn where everything is faster than any others his age; which worked in his favour whenever the kingdom was under attack. It’s worthy to mention that, at the time, Sal Vindagnyr was a healthy mountain full of greenery, bright green trees, vibrant flowers of all sorts and fauna the people of today could only hope to dream of, so it resembled a heaven, almost. What made it even more precious to Tarquin were his loved ones, and there isn’t a single person he didn’t hold dear to some extent. He enjoyed protecting the princess, enjoyed aiding their scholars with finding answers and new knowledge, enjoyed playing with the children and even enjoyed helping whatever outlanders decided to take a respite in their nation feel welcome.

send me a character and i’ll tell you something we have in common!
sucrose is much more shrinking than me — sometimes it surprises people who know me to know that i love the shrinking anxiety - ridden characters ( i’ve also written bernie 3h! ) because i’m very loud and et cetera most of the time. but that’s because i cope with my anxiety via being loud; i’m just as shy and unsure as sucrose, i just don’t show it.

THATS A KIN IF EVER I SAW ONE
just kidding, i don’t kin, but this one is easy. we’re both the big sisters / eldest daughter, down to the stereotypes. responsible, desperate to achieve and be everything for everyone, bad at taking breaks, love our little sister(s). i have also passed out because i ran myself ragged trying to care for others! i don’t know how to say no, and feel if i do ( or if i need help ) that i’m failing and letting others down. failing to fulfill responsibilities and letting others down are my worst fears.
xiao
send me a character and i’ll tell you something we have in common!
this one was tough!! i don’t think i’m much like xiao!! ( thank you, therapy! ) i do think we both tend to carry our problems alone, not wanting to burden others, though his comes from a sense of responsibility and mine from a fear of bothering others.
abaddon: what person, place, or thing have you most wanted to destroy?

abaddon: what person, place, or thing have you most wanted to destroy?
Huffman doesn’t have thoughts of destruction, believe it or not.
He holds no grudge, he is very much a pacifist in that sense. Sure, he could wish he could stop poverty, he wish he could stop the struggles that lead to a broken family. Perhaps he wishes to destroy the injustice of the world...but his mind isn’t that wild or imaginative. If anything, maybe deep down there is a deep desire to destroy something...something he can’t remember...
“So, what is this? Are you attempting to read me the way one would read a book?”
An amused chuckle slips from what was once a scowl upon the Diwata’s face. She flicks a strand of mauve locks behind her ear, canting her head at the other. “You’ll find it easier said than done. I may as well be a book on quantum mechanics.” Her lips loosen into a half-smile of sorts. “But if you must know ... I feel like I’m the worst, so I always act like I’m the best.”

lemme talk about my muse! / source!
rain always brings ichigo heavy discomfort and the painful memory of his mother dying before him at young age during a storm. with the weather becoming dark and gloomy, ichigo shuts down, refusing to go outside or speak to anyone as he does not want to let anyone see him in such a moment moment of weakness as he is always showing strength and protecting those around him.
