scented jewelry to wear your scent

For me, wearing perfumes is only so-so for if you want to wear your scent, because they wear off kinda fast unless I use a lot, and I become unaware of the scent after a minute anyways. Here’s what I like to use:

Lava rock beads

Lava rock beads can hold essential oils one them for several days (and perfumes, a bit more weakly), and it just so happened that I chose my scent based on my favorite essential oil. I was given this bracelet as a gift to help me calm my anxiety by keeping a soothing smell with me, and wow it really does the trick.

Careful though, imitation lava rocks won’t hold a scent at all :( I had two of the black bracelets, and my alpha made me this charm bracelet out of some of the beads when one snapped. The colored beads don’t hold a scent, but they are still pretty

Tower diffuser necklace

Same concept as the bracelet. I got this because the bracelet works so well, but with this, you can smell a gentle amount of near your face. It has foam pads on the inside that you can drop essential oil into, and I assume perfume would work too.

Pack camping trip headcanon

Pack camping trip, and when they go hiking everyone tries to get next to the beta that brought the really good snacks

Except for one alpha who is ridiculously concerned about walking ahead of everyone to check for hazards on the path

The alpha being so high-strung on the chill hiking trip stressing out an omega so the omega tries to keep pace with them and points out the nice flowers along the path to lighten the mood

The beta is a little shit (in the best way) so whenever no one is looking at them and the person they are hiking next to, the slip them some of a super good snack they were keeping hidden, and then tell them to keep it a secret. Everyone knows the beta has snacks, so people keep cycling around to the beta and the beta tells every single person to keep the special snack a secret. By the end of the hike they’re laughing their ass off watching the other members of their pack trying to be sneaky to walk next to them and getting confused why everyone else is so intent on the same thing

The hike reaches a lake and everyone is gonna jump in—except for that one alpha who is just a safety freak in general. The alpha says that they don’t wanna go, they’ll just watch. Making excuses that they’re gonna watch over the pack, etc etc. The scheming beta is having none of it so they decide it is their life mission to pester the alpha until they jump in the lake. Eventually they resort to bribery and offer the rest of the bag to the alpha if they jump in

It worked (probably just to get the beta to stop poking them tho) and everyone has a really good time swimming :)

Also there is a very sappy alpha in the pack who is always lagging behind on hikes because they stop to smell all the flowers so they can make a bouquet of flowers that smell like the omegas. The pack wishes this alpha didn’t get lost so often but also it melts their hearts

LGBTQ in a/b/o

I think what makes a/b/o really interesting is the way you can play with social norms, especially around gender.

In a lot of a/b/o, primary gender is less of a big deal compared to dynamics. On the other hand, stigma against alpha-alpha or omega-omega relationships might exist, and that gets into queerness in terms of dynamics. Some other things that might fall under that umbrella could be transdynamic or interdynamic (think trans/intersex but for dynamics).

I think this umbrella could be called dynamiqueer

Misceanimalis/Misceanimalia

These terms were made up in the miscecanis discord server I’m a part of (I can’t remember by who, sorrryyy) because not all people who participate in miscecanis center around the -canis part of it.

While a/b/o is loosely based on wolves, it’s been expanded a lot! I’m gonna be tagging my posts with misceanimalia/misceanimalis now, so that’s what that means
