Centipede Arcade Cabinet

Arcade1Up: Centipede, Missle Command, Crystal Castle, and Millipede

This is part three of my epic saga to pick up and assemble my new gaming cabinet.

Today I was grateful to have help in putting together the Centipede gaming cabinet created by Arcade1Up. For the most part it was pretty straight forward to assemble and everything was labeled clearly.

It took about an hour and a half to build because we were following the YouTube build video that is available along with the booklet provided. The YouTube video wasn’t 100% accurate my specific cabinet so following the booklet was the best course of action.

All pieces fit easily and putting it all together only required a screwdriver which was really nice since we didn’t really know what was required until we started this whole project.

It holds together nicely though there were times I was worried about how little it actually needed to be put together. The wood isn’t flimsy or anything which was reassuring.

All of the art is gorgeous and matches the original gaming cabinet which made me very happy. Honestly I have never even played the original. I played Centipede on my Dad’s old Mac computer and it took me years to beat his high score.

It works!!!

So happy to have gotten this product and put it all together! My only complaint is that the trackball seems a littl off and I am looking to see if I can fix that easily. Will let anyone know if they too come across that problem as well.
