Mercer Frey.
Idk why I can’t seem to fix the eyes in this game. I can, however fix his hair texture. Gonna do that next~
Fixed the purple head issue. Just need to make some changes and then when im up to it, Ill release the replacer
I’ve had frostbites replaced with Durzogs (and ambushing frostbites replaced with Shalks) for a while now. But I just restarted on SE and jumped right into Dragonborn for a change, and remembered there’s like 800 different new creepies that I can’t handle. So I’m playing around to see what works. I could have just used Ash Hoppers (all the other things don’t bother me, just the eight legged things) but I wanted to add more diversity in creatures and this seemed like a good excuse. :)
I deleted the head and legs off all the in-hand and inventory versions so you just look like you’re throwing colourful pods around. And out of silliness, made the Pack version (it just follows you about and carries your stuff!) a raccoon. I used Red Panda/Badger/Beaver for Fire/Shock/Poison versions, made the albino ones white rats, and uh, right now the Ice ones are Moose. Because I thought it’d be funny to throw a moose.
I’ll probably keep the rats and the raccoon (because while I don’t think he fits in, he’s ADORABLE so he’s staying), but need something more appropriate for the others.
thiiiiis turned out to be way more complicated than I was expecting. 3DIDs are confusing and variants are harder than I thought. But it’s nice to learn new things.
Just have to fix Linwe’s hood, tone down the yellow on Mercer’s armor and maybe make the summerset shadows a heavy armor version... then check all the stupid ground objects for correct textures then I think I’m done? maybe?
Every time I open the game I convince myself I’m going to do some quests and get the last of those achievements.
Then it’s like a few hours of TES5edit and CK and racemenu later, and oops, I didn’t do anything gameplay related, but hey; at least Brynjolf looks like The Little Mernord now.
My screen is alarmingly covered in Mercer Freys right now. Anyway, I guess the weird eye glow is something to do with the cubemap I was using? I’ll try this second one I found in game and see if it’s any better. He still seems to be looking upwards which is something all my NPCs seem to be doing. :/
Also, I don’t remember giving him that much eye makeup? haha. Fixed his hair texture though. 👍
As a quick return to ‘stuff I’ve broken while modding’, all my elves look like this now and I can’t seem to fix it. And while it was hilarious at first, I’m beginning to haaaaaaaaate it omg.
