Moogle Recipe

More details on the Moogle Recipe and Moogles themselves...

-According to legend, there were originally two Moogle Recipes. One of them was lost in the great collapse of “all Worlds” and the other resided in Radiant Garden. Suppose both are lost now...

-The Recipe is split into three parts. The Core, the Body, and the Spark. 

-The Body is straightforward enough in definition, while the Core is what holds the Heart+Soul+Will and the Spark is the Spell that allows the Moogle to be “born”

-The Recipe itself is very flexible. The materials for the Core always have to be the same, but other details may vary. 

-The other details of the Recipe are left up to the creators of the new Moogle or “Moglet” themselves. 

-It’s considered a rite of passage to adapt the Recipe. If you can adapt it into a Moglet of your own, you’re often considered ready to make one. (Since Moglets are raised communally, possible neglect/abuse from irresponsibility is considered less of a threat.)

-Since Moglets are made from Moogles in trios, each one brings one main Materia to the table. Which makes each RG Moogle based off of three main Materias which are thought to influence personalities/likes/dislikes/etc. 

-As an example, Mosh (key Moogle in Tell Me verse) is made from Blazing/Lucid/Energy. The personality type (coughs *horoscope*) is supposed to be energetic and prone to taking charge. Lucids are also supposed to be insightful. 

-Since the Recipe is ancient and full of Moogle Soul, it’s got a bit of a Will. It wants to make more Moogles. 

So say, an enterprising individual wanted to make more human-shaped beings based off it, the Recipe might whimsically put in the ability of those beings to devour Materia like Moogles. Rhetorically speaking.

I love the fandom concept of pumpkin being Sephiroth's favorite flavor, to the point that he's a pumpkin spice girly

and on that note, imagine Shinra's mess hall and coffee machines stock pumpkin flavoring year round because that is Sephiroth's daily coffee order. Shinra supplies him with endless hair conditioner and pumpkin cream cold foam to go on his 8 espresso shots he needs to get through the day

actually, as fun as Angeal's body horror is in Crisis Core, I am deathly curious about the body horror of his puberty

We see the difference between Smolgeal and CC Angeal and all that muscle and height. He fucking shoots up and out with muscle and have to deal with all of the consequences that come with it.

Puberty Angeal being fucking hungry all the time. The guilt of trying to justify snacks or wanting to hoard them for later, all while feeling the pang of hunger when he thinks he should be satisfied.

Trying to patch holes over and over again until he's completely outgrown his wardrobe. People gawking and touching his muscles and commending his gains while he swallows the guilt of having to ask for another uniform again. The only thing keeping him together is donating his old clothes to someone that needs them(And Gen who stole his shirts anyways, and Seph when Gen gave him some of Angeals shirts so he could wear something other than medical gowns or uniforms for the first time in his life.)

I don't know how to communicate this as a comic or something but i am starving for Sephiroth and Matt friendship. Their conversation in the Ever Crisis High School au was so cute and I just really want some kind of acknowledgement of it in the main story.

Like Sephiroth seeing a young soldier getting anxious so he quietly repeats the fibonacci sequence to them. Genesis asks what that was all about, and Sephiorth just says someone told him it was comforting so he lists the numbers in his head.

Or miniroth in Wutai with a little bestiary to record the wildlife they see. He says it's for academic research. Angeal helps take photos and Genesis gifts Sephiorth with fancy stationary for records.

They're just so similar as reserved and logical people. Matt being able to connect with Sephiroth as a mentor like Glenn, but offer effective coping mechanisms due to their similar thought processes.

They give off the vibes of having the same type of autism.(/j)

In an AGSZ context, it is so funny to think of Zack joining Sephiroth's, Genesis' and Angeal's fanclubs.

Zack getting updates from the silver elite, red leathers, and keepers of honor on his phone while sitting in a giant cuddle pile with his boyfriends.

Zack reading stuff in the Keepers of Honor and asking Angeal about it and just getting the most disappointed face back "Zack, don't believe everything you read."

Genesis, absolutely, positively, NEVER lets Zack live down joining the LOVELESS study group. He is quizzing Zack on his studies. Zack is memorizing the page numbers of quotes. Sephiroth has a headache.

The silliness of any of them joining Zack's fanclub back to show support.

Thinking of the emotional toll on Tseng after pushing so hard to find Zack and Cloud, sending out search parties to comb through the desert, constantly distancing himself from his job emotionally and for the first time having a personal stake in the rescue mission, having to read the trooper reports updated through the day on their dwindling numbers, the guilt of still holding on to all of Aerith's letters still not received, Cissnei leaving the Turks

and after all of that having to see Clouds face, carrying Zack's sword. On security cameras. Blowing up reactors. Alone. Without Zack.
