MoonBell - Night Drive
MoonBell is the musical alias of Winnipeg, Manitoba's Josh Richert, an artist whose inspirations draw from the diverse topographies of the Canadian West. Filled with a placating calm, Richert's latest track "Night Drive" plays as picturesque and visual mood music. A song to take you home at the end of the day, or maybe just to stay out a little bit longer, "Night Dark" in its quiet romantic, loops over its staying anacrusis. Complimenting the vocal harmonies of Richert's breathy sedation, resonant guitars build in its subtle crescendo as the brassy saxophone replaces the track's calm with a lush sensuality.
"Night Drive" is the follow-up from the cascading pluck and tumbling scurry that eventually becomes the heavenly track "Are All Jazz Players Idealistic Nihilists?" with its iconoclastic title.
