Hey sorry for taking so long!

It was because of the Silver Bridge. Genji blamed Hanzo for not doing enough to warn people (instead of helping them he just made people paranoid and scared) and for enjoy terrorizing people too much instead. That made Hanzo incredibly angry so he attacked Genji.

That made Genji flee and they cut contact for many years

Baby caterpillar Hanzo turned into a cocoon and then an angsty and greasy teenager poped out

He also was super fluffy for some reason. He became better looking as he grew up to be an adult

I don’t know if you answered this already, but in your Moth Hanzo au is Zen also a cryptid or nah? You said genji travels with him n I didn’t know if moth genji was hangin with another monster, an ominic, or just a very chill dude who’s not afraid of giant moth men.

zen is a very chill omnic dude, who doesn’t find genji terryfing at all.

Besides he’s also very shiny so it’s perfect 10/10 bf material for Mothji
