Not gonna lie.. ever since taking the risk and quitting my job last December I've been on quite a roller coaster of a journey. I thought I was gonna be able to just chill and relax much more often than work but woah I was wrong. I've been the busiest I've ever been in my life which in reality makes me the most #grateful I've ever been in my life. The gratitude derives from the fact that ever since taking that risk I've been allowed the extra time and energy to invest into my own creations and foundations. I am proud to say that within this short time of stepping away from my safety/comfort zone I have established multiple sources of income. Alongside the many business ventures I have created my most precious one of them all is my publishing company #Contraprises which will allow me to have full control of my revenue and royalties I recieve through major outlets and exposure. The last few months many have asked and have been anticipating new music from me. I apologize for the wait but it was time to take it to the next level. I've been putting in the work in various aspects of my life all while being on the road doing shows these last few months. Just know it was worth the wait. Been working on many features and videos so just be aware. #NEW #CONTRABAND COMING SOON. And remember the moral of this story. Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and chase the things you love. It's time to embrace and create a life of abundance for yourself and not build for another entity that does not benefit you. RISK AND REWARD. #MuchPeace #MuchLove
At that point yet once again. Climbing up the stairs. Stopping to look down on all the things in my life that I am grateful for, knowing that soon I will have to say goodbye to it all in order to reach my destination. These stairs are bittersweet. The more I keep climbing the more pain I feel but the stronger I continue to get. The view may be beautiful where I'm going but it will be lonely as well. The one man army fighting for this world. I now embark on yet another new journey in my life. Couldn't wait for the "New Year" for the "New Me". It had to begin NOW. I now walk away from one of the only stable environments I ever had in my life; Starbucks. I've never been stabilized with something for 6 years in my life. Never stayed in the same school, same house, same city or state for 6 years EVER. Even my time at Starbucks was split between 2 states. Ever so, I have the utmost gratitude for Starbucks for giving this kid a chance when his life was in a million pieces. Also for allowing me to meet some of the greatest souls I've ever encountered who have helped me advance with my music and also have enhanced the quality of my life. Walking away is never easy even though I've done it many times before. Thank you to all the people who I've encountered through Starbucks who have given me a better understanding of life itself and also provided a light heartfelt positive place to escape from the darkness and low energy of the streets. It allowed and gave me time to build the foundation of my career I currently have. 6 years ago I was lost with no vision, today I am ready to take on the world!..
