I could totally see Glukkon running blogs off Munaris larvae to get the "Aww so cutes" from their consumers to egg to buy products... for marketing.
I like to think of Glukkons thinking of the larvae as disgustingly cute similar to the fleeches.

Munaris come from Zimzum from Mudos; not much is known about their culture. The only exception to this is the medium-sized group of Munaris who relocated to Mudos to flee a blight. Male Munaris are built very similarly to females, except for flat chests, longer antennae, and longer snouts. They're smaller and weigh less than females. Being details, Munaris males die after mating.
Munaris have very strong familial bonds and intense motherly instincts. You mess with their eggs, their children. You will be punched.
Munaris go through heat-cycle that cause them really want to be parents, this done through genders. When a Munaris is finds herself a male, she will store his sperm it, and use it for later uses. One the reason why a male can father many kids, the female will choose how many kids she wants.
