like obviously this was a public Stan, but that was years ago, a lot of fans have come and gone, and since dream didn’t share her name (even though it’s known by people who were here), it’s considered “leaked” info. Which is why I understand fans trying to obscure it. Also the fact of her being an ex fan and people knowing how dream was treated for being parasocial to fans, now dating an ex one (even though other ccs have done it), it doesn’t mean they think it’s bad but they know how the reception would be

dream's been treated badly for things he didn't do but he's also done things that should be scrutinised. i don't feel any obligation to hide his behaviour when he can't even control himself to not repeatedly engage in the behaviour that gets him criticism. he got a lot of hate for fucking around with fans to various degrees and has spent years saying that it's not true, something fans believed and defended him on. but he does fuck around with fans to various degrees including literally. he's lied about that and let his fans defend him when it's not true. i don't personally have a moral issue with him fucking or dating fans but i do have an issue with him lying about it so his fans will defend him. that's gross shit

i think dream's always been messy in his romantic rlships. he's been clear with some ppl about what he's willing to give and what they should expect but also very squirmy with others, leading them on or maybe it's more accurate to say: keeping them on a hook until he cuts them off. he's gotten shit unfairly for the first type of situation but i think the second has been kinda ignored bc we all want to think the best of him.
i think this is a lot of fans kinda coming to a boiling point where they can't ignore all the little things anymore and are seeing a pattern that they don't like. i understand that it's a hard line for a lot of ppl in terms of what kind of person they want to support and i think that's fine. whatever the situation is tho, it's ultimately between dream and hanna and what works for their rlship.
it doesn't look great from the outside and it doesn't make me like dream very much but it's not a huge shock that he's flawed and messy and does shitty things. he's just a guy who's a dude who's a person who's a man. he's been flawed the whole time.

the thing that annoys me the most with the history change that he’s doing is that with manatreed at that information, his whole past and whatever, was all linked to his dox so there was a certain understanding why he would change the story even though it was dumb cos it would be uncovered anyways. With Hanna everything has been public, everything has been out there for years and people have been and gotten information about it since the beginning and here he is trying to make up a history when everything is out in the open and it makes it feel even more dissapointing because it’s such an obvious lie for no reason that’s just gonna cause more shit
