Steve’s Daughter and Bucky’s Son
A/N: Sarah Rose Rogers and Daniel James Barnes have been dating for months with no one knowing. They like it that way. Bucky x Wanda and Steve x Natasha. Told from Sarah’s POV. Overprotective Steve. I know Bucky and Wanda are odd but I could see them together so I’m pairing it. Obviously Vision is dead in this.
Summary: Daniel and Sarah get caught together
Sneaking out of my house is hard enough, but sneaking out of my house and into another house owned by a super soldier is even harder. Hell impossible, but I’m going to do. Midnight the start of my plan, everyone in my family is already asleep making it the perfect time to sneak out. I sneak out my window and into the tree so conveniently right there. Daniel’s house is right down the road so no need to drive. I sneak around the back of his house, his parents keep that door unlocked. So far so good no hiccups yet. “Hello beautiful.” I hear a strong familiar voice say as I’m closing the back gate. “Daniel oh my god you scared me.” I say throwing my arms around him. I connect my lips to his quickly leaving him little time to react, but he still manages to kiss me back with in milliseconds. Somehow we end up in the hot tub in our underwear I’m not going to complain though. “Daniel maybe we shouldn’t do this here in your parents’ hot tub.” I say pulling away from him gently. “Alright let’s find our clothes and take this somewhere else.” Daniel says kissing me softly. Neither of us move waiting to see what the other might do. Several minutes we sit there, me straddling him, our faces inches away from each other, the hot tub roaring, and the intoxicating smell of my perfume mixed with his cologne. “Why on Earth is the hot tub on? Daniel? Sarah? Oh my God both of you out of there now and for God’s sake get dressed.” Bucky practically screams. Oh no this isn’t going to end well. “Daniel can you bring my clothes over?” I ask trying to stay quiet. “Of course darling.” He whispers back. Once we get dressed and dried off the questions start. “Does your Dad know you’re here?” First question mine to answer. “No.” “How long have you 2 been dating?” Second question up in the air Daniel takes it. “6 months.” “How long have you been doing that?” Oh God not this question Daniel please answer. “That’s none of your business.” Oh thank God he answered. “I’ll call your dad and tell him you’re here. First thing tomorrow you are back at your house.” Bucky says very annoyed. “Ok, but where am I suppose to sleep?” I ask just glad we aren’t getting a lecture just yet. Daniel chimes in saying, “My room, I’ll sleep on the couch.” I look at him asking, “Are you sure?” He smiles taking my hand saying, “Yes, let me be a gentleman.” I know he’s not going to give up on this so I oblige heading up to his room while he walks into the living room. The next morning I wake up hoping it was all a dream. It wasn’t. I walk downstairs Bucky is already up standing by the door. “Good morning time to get you home.” He says sternly with Daniel bringing over my shoes. “Thanks Daniel.” I say with a small smile. The sun isn’t up yet so we walk back to my house with flashlights. “Young lady welcome back.” My dad says as we walk up the front steps. “Thanks Buck for bringing her back.” He adds as we all walk in the door. I sit down at the counter followed by Daniel sitting next to me. “Bucky filled me in on what happened but I want to hear it from you two what happened last night?” My dad asks sternly. “I snuck out, met up with Daniel at his house, we got a little carried away nothing happened though, and Bucky caught us making out.” I say in a matter of fact way. “Nothing happened you two were in your underwear.” Bucky says right after I’m done talking. I roll my eyes saying, “Fine nothing was going to happen.” My dad looks at me saying, “No one believes that I would like to but given your behavior I don’t. Now, Sarah go up to your room Daniel I want to talk to you for a minute.” I squeezes Daniel’s hand letting him know it’ll all be okay. “I’m going back home to get some sleep just send him back over at some point.” Bucky says walking towards the door, but before leaving he adds, “Daniel don’t think this is the only lecture you are going to get today your mother and I will be talking to you later.” I can see Daniel turn ghost white so I stick around out of my dad’s view but in audial range. “Daniel I like ya kid I do, but leave some room for Jesus with my daughter. I know she isn’t 10 anymore but she will always be my little girl. Now that I know you two are dating there will be ground rules; one like I said leave room for Jesus, two no kissing in front of me, three get her home by 10, four doors open, and finally five respect her always.” He says finally done lecturing, but he asks, “Am I understood?” Daniel still ghost white answers, “Yes, sir.” My dad smiles slightly saying, “Good now I think it’s time you head home.” Daniel smiles in my direction before leaving for the door. “Young lady you can come out from behind the corner now.” My dad says. “I wasn’t eavesdropping I promise.” I say both of us knowing I’m lying. He sighs saying, “I know you were, and what were you thinking sneaking out in the middle of the night?” I smile asking, “Do you really want to know what I was thinking?” implying I was thinking about Daniel in a less than innocent way. He makes a disgusted face saying, “Gross, I didn’t need to know about that. Since you have made it clear my ground rules mean nothing to you let’s hope they mean something to Daniel. If not then none of that ‘we forgot’ or ‘heat of the moment’ bull crap; be safe always.” I smile saying, “Understood, and dad thank you for being ok with me dating Daniel.” I hear my mom scream, “Wait you’re dating Daniel Barnes?” Oh god here we go again.
