So peaceful at 4 am. Snow drifts everywhere lol The apartment guys actually brought a payloader not a normal little bobcat to push snow yesterday morning doesn't look like a bit of difference this morning. They will be here in about two hours to start. The pond froze over and is drifting up too sadly I think there was a goose that got frozen out there. Glad the wind is finally calming down a bit but Im not looking forward to the up coming below zero temps. Hopefully my truck starts today. #ndwinter #ndproblems #sopeaceful

TODAY HAS BEEN LOVELY.

 So the fun part of today...Welp its snowed during the day so the roads were super slick on my way home. And I hit the ditch..on the otherside of the road..backwards. What happened was I was going about 45 behind this jimmy (and if you know me you know I hate going slow) and a truck passed us both so I figured the roads must not be that bad, well I forgot my tires are shit. So I crossed the center line just a bit to check if anyone was coming, noticed that we were coming on a four-way so I decided to wait to pass..then when I went to get back into my lane I hit some ice and went sliding (being the good ND'er I am I didn't over correct or slam on my brake) So I'm fishtailing across the road and I go over into the other lane, sideways, and at this point I'm pretty sure that I'm going to tip on my side into the ditch but luckily the huge amount of snow in the ditch worked as a great block and stopped me. Sooo yeah. haha it was actually pretty fun, I had about 3 seconds of panic when I thought I was going to tip but other than that I was pretty chill about it.
