I had this model in a box for 15 years.

I built it this way so I could play it either as a necrosphinx or a war sphinx (just add crew) in the old Warhammer Fantasy game .

It survived about 8 moves. I kept telling myself that it was worth keeping because I would paint it someday.

I finally did.

I touched up my necrosphinx a bit

And now we come to the last Vampire Counts mini I have. The Necrosphinx! And yes I do know that this mini is usually part of a Tomb Kings army but hey, I don´t have Tomb Kings and so I made her a little more vampiry and put her into my Vampire Counts army. 

This beautiful mini was made by “Games Workshop” (http://games-workshop.com) and is tragically no longer being made or sold. I remember getting one of the last ones before they stopped making them.

I think over all the colour scheme works and my little Sphinx integrates into my Vampire army well. :-)

Necrosphinx wip I screwed up with the primer and some spots are kind of rough... dont know whether to continue and paint it like its whethered or strip it and restart...

So, guess who’s done? Had to strip, chip clean, and repair this poor boy, but he’s ready now.
