Closed starter for Noah Fontaine ( @citrine444 ) Location: Catch Me If You Can (warehouse)
Casey hadn't seen Noah since they hooked up and it had been weeks now since the encounter. It was easier this way Casey thought. Despite being an author for a living Casey was downright horrible when it came to communication especially via text. He never knew what to say during moments like this when lines have been crossed and put them in some sort of limbo so he simply didn't say anything. Casey liked Noah, he wouldn't have hooked up with him if he didn't. Noah was fun and cool and easy on the eyes. He had angular elven qualities that Casey really liked about his profile but he'd never share such a thought out loud. But just because Casey liked Noah didn't actually mean anything even when hooking up he'd already learned that the hard way many times before. No, if Casey wanted to maintain friends with Noah he knew it was probably best he did nothing crazy like text him sometime in the weeks it's been since he'd seen him.
That didn't mean Casey didn't want to see Noah again, quite the contrary, but again Casey was terrible with these sorts of things. That was why Casey was trying to go to Catch Me If You Can tonight. He'd seen on Instagram that Noah was playing a set tonight and while he put no pressure on actually seeing Noah tonight he'd at least be in the same vicinity again and maybe run into each other. Even though the chance of seeing Noah was small Casey was still putting in effort tonight. He ate an edible as he got ready so his nerves would be calm and made sure he picked out an outfit that was cool without trying too hard.
It'd taken him longer to get ready than he'd liked but it didn't really matter. It wasn't like Noah even knew he was showing up tonight. Casey was just glad the place hadn't been shut down for the night when he did actually get there. He paid his cover and quickly checked out who was DJing right now and it wasn't Noah. Casey would be lying if he said he wasn't disappointed but he had been rolling the dice on coming out. Casey made his way over to where they'd set up the bar for the night in search of a drink. Even if he wasn't going to see Noah tonight he still was going to try and have fun. However as Casey got in line he almost quite literally ran into Noah. "Oh hey!" Casey greeted him, his voice going an octave higher than he'd like having been caught by surprise. While he wanted to see Noah he'd had hoped that he would've already had a drink or two beforehand, fuck.
