Yeah Rey deffo looks more aggressive in the fight than he does. I don't like to tie myself to theories just yet but I know people are guessing Ben calls a truce after or during the fight and tbh that really wouldn't surprise me because in that small bit we've got, he's being defensive and not being as aggressive as we know he can be when fighting.

I know the Force gives people amped abilities (and that she’s seen into his mind), but he’s taller, broad as fuck, and has more experience with dueling than she does, as we’ve been shown with the Supremacy fight where he’s fighting three Guards to her one. Not knocking Rey here, but on a one to one where he’s not wounded, I think he has the upper hand (not that she couldn’t turn things around, but on an open space where she’s vulnerable like that?? Maybe not?). Could be why she’s training in that sequence? To heighten her ‘saber abilities?

We know what he looks like when he’s fighitng to kill (thanks Luke vs Kylo), and that’s not what’s going on here. It reminds me of their SKB fight, where he’s deffo not trying to kill her there either.

Boy wants what he wants, what can I say? I don’t think she wants to kill him either, but I can imagine she’s in a place where she’s mad at him.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic defending the word "degenerate" but it is literally an inherently eugenicist word. "It wasn't invented to hurt people." It was invented to connect moral depravity or other "undesirable" qualities to ancestry/genetics and instill fear of "those people" hurting the evolution of the human race simply by reproducing. The only reason to use it as opposed to any other word is if you want to connect what you find undesirable to biology so it should never be used when talking about moral depravity.

I don't mean ill will I am saying;

1. The word is not german so the reason people are getting upset should not be Nazi's should be people from the 1500s and was written in classical Latin. The Germans didn't "invent" the word nor use it... cause it is not a German word.

2. I don't like preventing people from saying a word that they themselves don't use on others to push them down. Don't be a bully but if you "own it" being a "trash heap" that is wicked cool.

3. By your logic the word "stupid" should be killed off as well because it was used as an insult and people used it to justify a lot of things.

I get your dislike or perhaps hate for the word. However you don't have to use it.

Though the word you put in quotes is not one of them. This is how I feel and my opinion. I just don't think it's wise to scrub certain words and label them as slurs cause this is just a very offensive word.

Like I can just imagine what can be worse and honestly never plan to type or say those.
