ExFJs lie to keep up appearances.

At this point, they probably don’t know how to tellthe truth. I mean, after 6 years, 4 holiday parties, and 1 best friend giftexchange—it would just be a dick move for them to tell their neighbor: ‘’Hey, I reallyhate your guts…..you’re dead to me Allen.” Even if that /is/ their honest opinion of Allen, it’s better to subtly drop hints through passive agressive facebook posts than to just throw it all out there in the open. 

 ExTJs lie because the truth doesn’t always make sense.  

Occam’s Razor is a wonderful thing– it’s how ExTJs live their lives. It’s how they got through the Great Pond Draining Incident of 2015. “It’s the drought,” they’d say, watching the sheets of rain pound against their windows.“Just the drought.” They didn’t notice the man who came nightly, covered from head to toe in kitchen sponges. They didn’t notice him submerging himself in the pond and stealing every last drop of water. “It has to be the drought!” they would cry.

 ENxPs lie because the truth is boring.

They don’t lie, they embellish. Thank god for that too. You’d probably get sick of hearing the absolutely iconic ‘’Johnny fell into the punch bowl story” if you knew that there wasn’t actually a punch bowl and Johnny just fell over because he’s clumsy as hell. 

ESxPs lie because they’re good at it.

Look, if you’ve got a natural talent, you might aswell milk it to the last drop– no matter how much everyone else startsresenting you for it. That’s what it says in the bible right? Or maybe I’m thinkingabout the creators of Frozen, either way it’s a great philosophy and a guaranteedway to have a good time!

Is it lying if I tell Ricky that I’m giving him sugar cubesfor no reason, even though I do have a reason for giving him sugar cubes? Is itlying if Ricky is big and strong, and I want to instill afavorable response in him every time I introduce myself? Is it lyingif I pretend to have 3 twin siblings so that I can introduce myself to Rickyfour times a day and hence speed up the whole, get Ricky on my side process? Isclassically conditioning people lying?? Was Pavlov lying? Are you saying that oneof the most influential psychologists of all time was lying? Is it lying if–

And I think we’d all be able to see that if we could just open our eyes and let all that universal truth flood into us through our eyeholes. Carl Jung was right about everything. I phoned up my good friend The Collective Unconscious the other day and it told me, it said: “Dude, did you know INxJs never ever never lie, like never ever”. And if that’s not the truth, idk what is. 

ISxJs lie because sometimes, they don’t know what to do with the truth.

The truth, at times, can be a real pain. Imagine building a house from the ground up: you have the plans, you have the means, and you’ve finally accomplished what initially seemed like such a massive task. You’re really proud of yourself until one of the contractors taps you on the shoulders and hands you an extra brick. “Yeah…we forgot this one,” he says. Now you’re stuck in a fit of panic trying to hide this brick like it’s a dead body. “Damn it, Kyle….why didn’t you speak up?” You weren’t anticipating this.

My sister keeps forgetting about me/leaving without out/putting me on the back burner so her friends can come first and even though I’ve told her how that makes me feel, but she keeps doing it because she doesn’t see what she is doing wrong. And when I complain she either gives me a thousand excuses about how I read the situation wrong (like there was no other option) or she says she cant help it that I don’t see the difference between friends and family.

And maybe I am reacting a little over the top but I have so much issues trusting people because I don’t want to let them in just to find out I am nothing to them, that I am replaceable. I have a lot of social anxiety (and even if I am fine, it takes energy for me to interact with people) and my family used to be the only place where I was calm, but that changed last year, my parents are fighting a lot so there is so much tension at home draining me, and now my sister (who was always my fail safe) makes me feel like shit. The last year I did everything for her because she had a breakdown, and she kept saying she would give everything back when she was a little better. But now that she is, she says for her own sake she can’t think of anyone but herself right now. So tough luck for me!

Don’t get me wrong, I have an amazingly close relationship with my sister (which is probs part of the problem) and I know she loves me and she doesn’t mean to make me feel like this. But one minute tells me she doesn’t know what she would do without me and begging to do stuff with her and helping and stuff while not giving a fuck where I am or what I am doing the next minute, even when I actually need her then. It’s like she only cares on her term, when she needs me or no one else is around. And it hurts me because even though I know she loves me, it doesn’t feel like that if she treats me like this, it hurts, it makes me doubt myself and it makes me feel like I am worth less than her other friends, like we are only so close by default, because we were born as twins and that’s the only connection.

And I’ve told her this but she doesn’t understand, she doesn’t do it on purpose and when I tell her she treats me differently depending on the situation she says she’s sorry but she doesn’t get it. and I want to be so mad at her but I can’t, and I don’t know what to do because I can’t keep forgiving her and pretending it is fine but I also don’t want to ruin our relationship. And because she doesn’t understand it, there are only two options: for me to get over it or to stay mad at her, and right now it the first option is getting harder and harder.

so long story short, she is enjoying herself with her friends right now at a concert were I was supposed to go too (but she left without saying anything) while I am trying to stop crying to myself at home :/
